Rhonda Kelly thought the slot home she bought brand new in February was her dream property. It has since turned into what she calls a “nightmare house.”
It’s one of those silly new aged liberal companies. The second they read the company name I instantly thought “yup that’s probably why it 1) looks like that and 2) is falling apart”
Big mistake not getting a home inspection! Always get a home inspection even if promised a home warranty. All of these problems would have been flagged by the inspector. Lemon house! Shouldn't have bought this one, shoddy and dangerous workmanship!
Home inspections are a waste of time, my parents had 1 done before they bought their last house and we're still paying to fix stuff that ranges from the illegal to down right dangerous...
@mjncad I know diddly squat about home construction and even I would have discovered that there is no pipe connecting from the shower! Turning on the faucets and making sure they drain properly and not through a LIGHT FIXTURE is literally the most basic thing ever. No license needed!
Home owners should unite all over the country against all these shoddy builders! They are making off with your hard earned money with government incentives!
That’s my point. I’m a builder. U can’t sheet rock it or insulated it until everything passes. If it’s structured stuff. Leaking roof or doors and windows can’t close, that’s not the city inspector fault it’s just a shiting work by contractor
@@tublisvaj8966 I’m building a house now and the crawl space foundation looks like a kid who didn’t have a level put it together. In your opinion, How reliable are city inspectors ?
@@HyruleDude city inspector will not say anything about it unless it’s a safety hazard and it will cost the house to collapse. Just tell ur builder to fix it or he won’t get pay
The builder most likely used unskilled labor and most likely undocumented workers to build this house. People that have no real experience in building and remodeling and cut every corner. Most likely the house will have to be torn down and start over with skilled labor. Very sad. Builder probably just hired some guys standing around a Home Depot looking for work. The builder should be sued and thrown in jail.
Hello Denver7....here's an idea. How about adding a link to follow-up videos?? Sometimes people will see a story and would like to see the whole story, even if it is an old one 🤔😁
Once the building & selling of the last planned junk has been completed ,the company will turn into steam & disappear into nothingness . Then reopen under a new name in a new area .& start the process over again .
The problem is the contractors the housing company hires to build the home. Nearly all contracting companies nowadays use illegal immigrant labor. So you got illegal immigrants, who cant read or speak english, building homes for American citizens. What could possibly go wrong?
How can it even pass city inspection. Inspector must have taken bribe.
I agree 100% .. It happens more often than we think. The city should be held somewhat responsible.
How dare they even named their company as “SUSTAINABLE”
That's part of the problem....to busy following modern trends instead of building a solid house like the houses from years and years ago.

@@archerbob6847 I personally wouldn't feel good until I had at least two or maybe even three home inspections, just to be safe.
@@archerbob6847 people don’t know that home inspection is base on eye visual inspection only.

Why didn't city inspectors find this when permits were signed off on

Dont waste your time buying new builds anywhere. Not built as well as the older homes.
They better fix her house if they don't maybe she can start to sue people
@mjncad oh wow that's actually kinda messed up
@mjncad yeah probably but hopefully some good goes her way over this
Wow she is beautiful 😍
We have seen so much this around town when installing central vacuums
Does anyone know what has happened with this. ??
That is why I build my own new home!😊 These home builders are fly by night contractors!😮
The house is beautiful on the outside!
Wow, hopefully she sues soon. There don't seem to be as many "lemon" laws for new home builds vs when you buy a new car, kind of shameful!
Why didn't she get it inspected before hand
I can't believe so many people are buying homes without inspections!! No wonder these builders are getting away easily with shoddy work.

Journalism is dead
😮
That's cause they running scared, they know they gonna get sued

DID SHE DIDE?
And she paid 3 x what the house is worth today.

Cheap labor= cheaper home
😂
You're delusional.
Don’t buy Khovnanian. Don’t do it.
Wow that builder is awful!
It’s Indian quality
Get you a country boy and if you are good to him he will take you to Church and maintain the house!
Lay back and think of new sheetrock?
Boo hoo! 😨😨😨
Yet people vote for republican deregulation policies. I don’t car if you want to marry in the same sex, what does that have to do with me?
You sound crazy
these industrial scale homebuilders are a scourge.
