A lot of creators on TikTok make food from scratch and I don’t see how she is copying her. I think anyone nowadays blames others for copying them just to drum up conversation to get more views and clicks.
And I mean, there is only so much you can change up a recipe with certain things. So many people probably think they came up with something so unique and amazing, only that there's probably someone on the other side of the world that does it the exact same way and also thinks they're unique. That's just what recipes are. There's only so many tweaks you can make to certain recipes and none of its really unique, imo. Also, recipes are constantly passed around. As if whoever taught Onezwa or whatever her name is these recipes, didn't probably get them from someone else, and so on and so forth. Let's be real, Onezwa didn't create or invent any of these recipes. Nor did Nar. Ultimately, it's just a stupid thing for people to be arguing over.

If Nara wanted to take legal action then wouldn't it have been through a lawyer or something? Anyway good for her cause this isn't the first that Onezwa lady has done something like that... A few months back she accused another content creator of copying her and causing them to be harassed by her pack of wolves over sea salt 🧂
This reminds me of that one DIY creator that got upset that another DIY creator copied some of her art. Maybe it’s just me, but don’t these people create content online for other people to see and try it out themselves??? She’s just upset that Nara is getting views than her and not because Nara is allegedly copying her. Both lovely women though, I wish them the best
This!! Like why are these influencers mad that they influenced people? Lmfaoo They're definitely really just mad about the fact the latter is getting more views and traction
I think she just wanted credit and the reason she even made the vid, is cuz many people on twitter were basically @ing onezwa showing evidence that after onezwa made a vid, the next couple days she would make the same thing in her vid… South African twitter definitely got in her head!
I don't understand did she invent mozzarella cheese? Her video was posted a single day before Naras and I'm sorry there no way nara can record and edit and voice these videos in less than a day to get right on the back of her. The fuck?
Exactly, Nara said this isn't her daily life so my assumption is she makes these videos on certain days and then posts it because no way and especially with a young baby.
Let's not pretend that MAKING MOZZARELLA CHEESE FROM SCRATCH isn't a unique and sparsely executed idea. Nobody's claiming to have invented cheese. It's the combination of the various elements similar to the other creator. Not to mention, the age old dilemma of plagiarism by a mixed race woman from a hard working, lesser known black creator only to deny any cognizance of the latter's existence.
People were TRYING to find a reason to cancel Nara. I called it, because everyone has been hyping her up a lot recently (as they should) and there’s no reason to. Let her live! I love her vids
she doesn’t need money from content creation she’s already very rich so imo she’s invading a space she shouldn’t be in. also mormonism is a sick and twisted religion, and it literally says being black is a punishment in their book.
White women hate that she's with the man they all wanted years ago. I don't even watch her content but some people claim to not like her yet her mere existence seems to rile up their hatred. Very weird behavior
Their videos aren’t even similar? And can how can you “steal” a recipe made from scratch? Most people who do similar videos to Nara use a soft voice for their videos. I honestly don’t think how this girl thinks Nara is copying her 😭
Right? Like "SHE MADE THE EASIEST HOMEMADE CHEESE RECIPE LIKE ME" The type of cheese they are making is milk, vinegar, salt. That's it. It literally is a recipe that has been used for probably 2,000 years at this point. It's nothing new, if you join a homestead group they are doing nothing special, just cool homemade recipes. Recipes can only vary so much when all the recipes are from scratch using similar ingredients 😅
I read that South Africa isn't part of the creator fund, so she can't make money off of her content the same way Nara can. I think the sudden switch up is from that, but the argument itself is pretty weak. I can believe that Nara has been using other people's recipes without giving credit. Saying she just googled one and then not linking the recipe, but claiming she came up with others on her own, that's a little fishy. But full on copying? These are pretty basic videos. Even Onezwa growing/gathering ingredients and milking cows is nothing groundbreaking. I follow a lady in the countryside in the UK who does the same thing; is she copying Onezwa bc she's milking a cow to make cheese as well? She should have just petitioned to allow South African creators be a part of the creator fund instead of all this.
Honestly this seems fishy. Onezwa doesnt explain how to make boba or even list exactly what she used. I also find it odd that she would have been contacted by Nara directly rather than a lawyer. Btw I don’t watch either of them
I honestly don’t understand what’s wrong. I have found plenty of inspiration from women online when it comes to the kitchen. I’m grateful when I get to include a new recipe and sometimes record my family’s reaction. It’s fun and inspiring. Perhaps it’s a possibility she got inspiration from this woman and wants to show how she includes this to her day to day. Or maybe not but I don’t think it’s fair to say she’s stealing someone else’s content. How many viral recipe videos have other people used and tried in their home to review it? Countless. There is plenty of homemakers who does things from scratch it’s not limited to one person.
There is a video of Nara explaining why lucky always has a toothpick and she said something about him having an illness, anxiety or smoking I don't remember but it was one of those. The toothpick keeps him distracted from what he suffers from.
Okay but like, who cares? You’re not the first person to make mozzarella, & you’re not the first person to make boba - and baby, you’re not the first person to use a soothing voice in video content that you create. this is so entitled. and personally - i hope the lawsuit thing IS real. y’all are doing the up most, and this woman is grown. if you don’t have the lawyers to back up ur allegations, and start making drama when this is the same woman who commented on one of ur tictoks supporting you - you’re crazy.
Exactly, also what’s insane is she’s a grown ass woman, aren’t there more important things in her life? Friends or family or a partner or kids or a job or smth because this is just weird. A million person did it before on the internet and a million more will do it after them.
Did you not watch? Mozzarella AND Boba were posted right after the other girl. That’s a pretty weird coincidence. She is taking the recipe as her own and not crediting the other person.

Tbh I really don’t know what the issue is?? A lot of the recipes that Nara makes are things you can easily google online. So this woman thinks she invented cooking?? I see hundreds of TikTok’s of the same recipes from different creators every damn day. She needs to get a grip.
cooking is copying recipes? like IVE made boba before. i feel like her voice change is for “soothing and relaxing”. nara to me is like in on the joke and this shouldn’t be that serious
there's 7billion ppl in the world, aint none of us have an original idea we always get inspiration from something or others arguing about making ish from scratch grown a ss ppl and funny thing they aint the only ones who do this is what happens when everyone think their special sorry not sorry
But I feel like Nara is trolling Onezwa. She might have had it scheduled for next week but decided to post it a day after Onezwa. That's my gut feeling after hearing about the 2 days apart boba videos. She knows what she's doing. Nara has always been about the rage baiting
Honestly when any video gets popular nowadays, it is very common for someone else to try to steal the ideas of another creator, or even clone the style of their content without giving the original creator credit. We have seen this with Charli, and the Jalaliah Harmon incident. It’s important to acknowledge the people you have got inspiration from. Just because the person who cloned their videos are popular doesn’t mean that it should be supported.
Nara is doing what all larger content creators do .. I believe they do take ideas from smaller UA-camrs and general trends . I really have more of an issue with the disingenuousness and deception . Instead of constantly saying you had an arbitrary "craving" for something or you always make something as a family tradition , just be honest and say you saw it on someone else's video or it was trending and you got inspired . We see this all the time it's a thankless job being the first to speak out about something . It won't be a thing until more people speak out about and more easily if they are not a POC.
The corn flakes video is what made me subscribe to Nara! The milking of her dog is HILARIOUS and total satire!! That was the first video I ever seen of Nara’s so not sure if all her videos are Satire but that one definitely was.. maybe she was playing off this lawsuit?! 😂😂
The young woman says that Nara gives oldie housewife vibes. There were no housewives who I knew who went around looking or acting like Nara. They actually took care of their kids because they didn’t have a JOB because many weren’t ALLOWED to have jobs. Idolizing this idea of the housewife is crazy.
Since everyone here seemed to miss the point... She is constantly claiming that she 'created' these recipes herself. As in... came up with them.. invented them? But its been shown time and time again that they are the exact same recipes as other content creaters. The issue isnt her videos or voice or cooking, its the fact that she profits off these recipes without ever giving credit and claiming she just came up with them.
This Nara girl is literally only a model that's it, can easily be replaced with AI , where as sis over here is human but coz she aint some commercial beauty she ain't famous
I can’t tell if that chick is serious or if it’s all a parody. To be honest, I can’t stand the fact that it sounds like the microphone is sitting in her esophagus. If it’s all for entertainment, then good for her she’s done a great job.
If she isn't the first person to do any of what she does, then how can Nara be copying it? People can make things from scratch if they want?? Inspiration exists? Maybe I'm missing something here...😂 I'm not into Nara's content and I've never heard of Onezwa, but this is just silly.
Why are people mad about her using the recipes of the other lady? Don’t we all use recipes from other people? This is a big REACH. Nara did nothing wrong.
Then she should credit the creator she is using it from. Period. People go insane over dance credit on tiktok, but when it comes to crediting a BLACK WOMAN over cooking videos suddenly it's a non issue to credit someone you take from.
@@blueeyedgojo689 how does both their races have to do with her using a recipe she saw from someone else? It’s a recipe, it isn’t that serious. We all see TikTok’s on food and sometimes we use a recipe we saw. It’s rlly not that serious.

Now there were enough fans that kept accusing her of copying nara and then onezwa addresses this. Ok..but how does it give more credence to the other girl if it's not real tho like you said?? Also it takes some time to make mozzarella from scratch then edit the videos I don't think she did it in 1 day then post it it's probably coincidence, cooktok uses those type of soft voices alot and it's not like there's infinite amount of things to cook
So Nara should allow a clout chaser to destroy her brand?? Do you take this approach with all defamation cases? Does this mean YOU never defend yourself from envious narcissists and their flying monkeys? I commend Nara for letting professionals handle this.
Nara has the larger audience, I don’t think this hurts her at all. Especially since it’s a frivolous way to make money. Most people aren’t up in arms about content creators. It’s not really respected compared to other sectors of work.
stealing content? stealing ideas? that would imply that her ideas were original??? making food from scratch is not an original thought. so therefore cannot be stolen
This whole argument is ridiculous. I can think of 6 creators with similar content. Did they steal it from her too. Nothing is original on the internet. The name of the game is who can produce content that catches and keeps an audience. I see 2 different creators with similar content. Nara is not the first content creator to make mozzarella cheese from scratch.
I love South Africa and South Africans ( been there 11 times ) and I don’t like people who get “ inspired “ who won’t share who inspired them. It IS suspicious that the same recipes were made a day or 2 after the South African lady. I like them both, but I don’t like folks being inspired without sharing who inspired them. What’s the harm in saying who inspired you when your content style is very different? Anywho, I hope no one gets sued and that they can both make money.
Nara threatening to sue this woman for stating her opinion is actually more mean girl behavior than anything! Like for real girl? You are sending cease and desist emails? I’m sure your “brand” was unscathed! It’s giving “I will call my lawyer dad & get you in big trouble” 😂
Bro. She didn't make mozzarella like she didn't create the idea for it so someone else Creating mozza😮rella at home is absolutely ridiculous to accuse her of stealing your idea. No one stole your idea. You just want notoriety. Also, there are like 500000 women. And men who do that soft-spoken voice, so you really think that she stole it from one creator.... no, it's just a combined effort of being online. I hate the internet so much. People just reach so far for ideas and opinions.
Let Nara sue Onezwa !!! Please do, they always threaten the victim to angst and drop the situation. Like the Jaclyn Hill did sue the Christine Gallipoi (owner brand Kozy Blankets) via a letter, scare tactics. But not really taking to court, cos its costly to sue someone overseas or numerous countries 🤣🤣🤣
I think it’s very possible that Nara is copying content. She’s a literal model; her entire schtick is fabricated & contrived to sell a ~crunchy SAHM aesthetic~. So imo, if you’re going to act like you’re so unique for making things from scratch…. maybe actually have original content ideas. HayleeBaylee is known to copy popular videos, too, and it’s tacky. Just because recipes are shared doesn’t mean that Nara isn’t being unoriginal or copying someone.

How in the world can she sue internationally for defamation? Girl sit down somewhere.
I think she could if she got a lawyer based in South Africa?
@@P4Stalot Going after a poor South African woman for defamation will be worse damage to her brand than the damages she is claiming. Plus the expense to do something like that when you know financially you will gain nothing is stupid.
@@quedotelancine1685 yeah it would absolutely crazy for her to actually try to go through with it, and even crazier if a lawyer actually took this on.
It costs thousands to sue internationally. It's possible and it has happened. Will it happen? No.
no one directly emails someone saying they will sue them, naras lawyer would tell onezwa if she was being sued. it's obviously fake.
A lot of creators on TikTok make food from scratch and I don’t see how she is copying her. I think anyone nowadays blames others for copying them just to drum up conversation to get more views and clicks.
Tone deaf
@@tabortoothtiger7580 completely agree!

I really don’t think nara would be typing the email herself when she has a whole team 🥴
@@SpillSesh my exact thought lol
In my opinion it was probably written by a troll or by that lady herself to make Nara look bad.
Exactly!
Who was the content creator that she accused of sea salt?
She can't even sue, at least before they are both in the same country 😂😂
This reminds me of that one DIY creator that got upset that another DIY creator copied some of her art. Maybe it’s just me, but don’t these people create content online for other people to see and try it out themselves???
She’s just upset that Nara is getting views than her and not because Nara is allegedly copying her.
Both lovely women though, I wish them the best
Kaarin and Tay, those are names of the DIY artists involved in a similar controversy (in my opinion at least)
This!! Like why are these influencers mad that they influenced people? Lmfaoo
They're definitely really just mad about the fact the latter is getting more views and traction
Apparently nara commented on her video then later on said she has no idea who she is. I think that’s what led her to be upset
I think she just wanted credit and the reason she even made the vid, is cuz many people on twitter were basically @ing onezwa showing evidence that after onezwa made a vid, the next couple days she would make the same thing in her vid… South African twitter definitely got in her head!
Exactly!!
This is ridiculous. Neither one invented it, so if someone else makes a video making it they have no claim over it. This is a non issue.
I don't understand did she invent mozzarella cheese? Her video was posted a single day before Naras and I'm sorry there no way nara can record and edit and voice these videos in less than a day to get right on the back of her. The fuck?
Exactly, Nara said this isn't her daily life so my assumption is she makes these videos on certain days and then posts it because no way and especially with a young baby.
i mean nara has an entire team she probably can lol
Let's not pretend that MAKING MOZZARELLA CHEESE FROM SCRATCH isn't a unique and sparsely executed idea. Nobody's claiming to have invented cheese. It's the combination of the various elements similar to the other creator. Not to mention, the age old dilemma of plagiarism by a mixed race woman from a hard working, lesser known black creator only to deny any cognizance of the latter's existence.

Recipes can only vary so much when all the recipes are from scratch using similar ingredients 😅
you share a recipe online people can use it, and its tiktok everyone copies everyone lol
💯
Honestly this seems fishy. Onezwa doesnt explain how to make boba or even list exactly what she used. I also find it odd that she would have been contacted by Nara directly rather than a lawyer. Btw I don’t watch either of them
Exactly it's obviously faked !
is it really serious enough to think that deep into it tho? 😭
Lucky Blue just gives me secondhand embarrassment. The whole toothpick aesthetic is even too much for the aesthetic girlie lifestyle.
There is a video of Nara explaining why lucky always has a toothpick and she said something about him having an illness, anxiety or smoking I don't remember but it was one of those. The toothpick keeps him distracted from what he suffers from.

Since everyone here seemed to miss the point... She is constantly claiming that she 'created' these recipes herself. As in... came up with them.. invented them?
