Thank you for the socket sizes, my husband is going to replace mine since it's spewing grease everywhere. i have a 2014 kia sorento limited sxl and this is a huge help for us!

Excellent video just to clarify not sure if it cause that one is a 4cyl or not but my Kia had 32mm axle nut and I have the 3.5 just a heads up all you d.i.y.ers
Is there anything holding the cv axle to the hub other than the nut? I’m trying to do mine but I can’t get the shaft to budge I’m thinking it’s just seized really bad
Just that one nut … spray some penetrating lube and smash the shit out of it … who cares if cv shaft mushrooms because you are replacing it anyway don’t be afraid to hit it hard
I’ve tried what the video showed, a puller that you hammer on, the puller with an air hammer attachment, beat the devil out of it…. Cannot get it to budge. I could try some PB blaster or something next

I have a Santa Fe with clunk in front that Hyundai has a TSB on regarding a washer between back of hub and axleshaft. Yours is the only video I've found that shows that washer. You didn't change it. It appeared to have been stuck to back of hub then came loose when you put new shaft into back of hub. Do you know if this washer is the same for the Sorento and Santa Fe? I can't find the washer at any dealerships in my area. Local tranny shop says my transfer case is bad but I sure would like to try this first. I have no washers in place now.

Any idea what size cotter pins you used for the axle nut and the tie rod castle nut?
