  • Hi everyone, I was able to get a dozen of the 12oz clear glass can cups to try out. I ended up using blue heat tape and brown heat tape which both are from Amazon. Affiliate links here: amzn.to/3I0t9oC Blue: amzn.to/3rZZXsp
    Supplier for the Glass cans here: / 473678803573692 www.etsy.com/s...
    Main design was purchased from JulaBay. Link here: www.julabay.com/
    I used my air fryer at 360* for 6 minutes. I did turn it half way thru. Not sure if it is necessary but it worked. As you can see if the video I ended up cutting down the top and bottom of my transfer.
    I am hoping to get the frosted version next, larger size and if I can crank my mug press down enough I will do a how to video for that also.
    Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Please like and subscribe.
    Happy crafting!!!

    I tried with my cup press and it hardly worked so I’m excited to try in my air fryer. This is great 😊

      These are 12oz and won't fit in the mug press. I have larger 20oz coming and will try them in a tumbler press. If I can get some 16oz I'll do a mug press video.

      Yes. It's a keto drink. My boys also steal that. It tastes like a smoothie.

    Hi
    Do you mean 360 Fahrenheit?
    Or 360 degrees (Celsius)
    I’m over in UK and we mainly used degrees.
    Thank you ☺️

    can this temperature be the same for a convection oven? i tried it at 360 for 6 mins and it was very light what do u suggest

    • @craftingwithcarrie8721

      I have never tried in a convection oven
      Maybe bump the temp up to 375. I've also seen 8 minutes in a convection.

    Hello! I'd love to attempt this idea of sublimation without spending so much money to see if I have the touch to complete, lol. Would any air fryer work??

      Just as long as it's big enough. I started using my old small 3 quart and that worked for smaller items but it ouldnt hold a tumbler.

    I'm new to this, what is the tape and shrink wraps purpose on the glass. TY

    • @craftingwithcarrie8721
      @craftingwithcarrie8721  2 роки тому

      Tape holds your transfer in place
      I use shrink wrap to keep everything tight so I have no ghosting etc.

    So doing that does it make the glass and vinyl more dishwasher safe?

    • @craftingwithcarrie8721
      @craftingwithcarrie8721  2 роки тому

      There is no vinyl on this. I do still recommend hand washing but I did put the glass not the lid in the dishwasher and it was fine.

    • @craftingwithcarrie8721

    Is it possible to sublimate an image that is white?

    • @craftingwithcarrie8721
      @craftingwithcarrie8721  2 роки тому +1

      No. Sublimation ink does not have white. Sub ink is also transparent. Anything white in an image will be the color you you put it on. Which for this glass is clear. On frosted glass it will look more white.
