I bought a 2014 for $27,000, I had it checked out by my local professional car auto repair shop and they told me nothing was wrong with it, it just needed a oil change and new tires they even told me the shocks still looked like new which was shocking because the shocks on range rovers are the first to go bad but the one I purchased was still new. I love my choice of buying it, now that it's winter where I'm from the range rover is so cozy and handles the snowy roads/weather very well.
Rules for buying a pre-owned car. 1) let depreciation set in. Time is the best friend in the luxury car world. 2) 1 owner cars are usually the best cars. I'd rather buy a 1 owner vehicle with 135k then a 4 owner car with 60k. Think about that. 3) service and maintenance. With a 1 owner vehicle, you know 1 person took care of it for all those miles. It goes a long way when considering a luxury vehicle such as a Range Rover. 4) Accidents. Let's be honest, accidents and such happen, the majority of accidents reported are "cosmetic" in nature, with minor dings and dents. Always be aware of the severity of the accident and the location of where it occured. Lastly, LR/RR get a bad reputation on it's history, but have made strides in being a more reliable brand over the years. Toyota has recalled over 3200 cars for reported transmission issues, does this make Toyota bad? Or unreliable? Will the Range Rover need more up keep? Yes. Is it worth it? I will leave that to you. But, think about what you'd rather be spending your time in after a long hard day's work.
If I could add to your excellent list, pay more for a good example, referring to point #3. It will come back to you. If you are handy, buy a good diagnostic system. I owned Lrs through the years, I maintened them myself. The problems and solutions are well known. The support is excellent on forums. The RRs are so versatile, from off road to taking a special person to a symphony. Avoid diesel for two reasons. The quality of diesel in USA wrecks havoc on emissions systems as the milage piles up on the car. Questionable crank build quality and design, which lacks technical support from dealers.
Just over 2 years ago I bought a 2014 Rover Sport SC with the dynamic package with 95,000 miles. I've had ZERO issues. If its taken care of it will last. I say go for it.
Thanks for the advice.. 2017 hse fully loaded. Supercharged, all black package. 84,345 miles., fig, enclosed, fully warranty,$217, car sheild. Going to get it, good looking
@@fordstone2725 Another thing I advise - because I always do this when I buy a used vehicle - take it to a dealer or reputable Rover mechanic as soon as you buy it (I prefer the dealer for my Rover) and have it put through the most intensive service they have, to include looking for problems not currently known or seen, and fix them if found. Doing that has always kept me out of service departments after that first initial service. Then I absolutely know I'm starting off in good shape. You have a warranty, but I think you'd come out even better spending your money on the front-end and hopefully never need to use the warranty. Just advise that has worked for me. I hope you enjoy it. I really really like mine, and it's my 3rd. Ive had a 2010, a previous 2014 with the V6, now this insane V8. I've never had any problems.
@@carycoller3140 of course that’s my plan already, the car also comes with an 90 day warranty, and that’s an plus, there’s also an dealership not to fare from me and I have already made an connection with them about the truck, looked up the vin and it was in deeded serviced with range over, also going to change the rotors, brakes, etc, but their also willing to change the brakes, but not what I would like, therefore going to do that on my own.. ceramic brakes, etc. good looking, be safe out there. Also did the Kelly blue book, so there asking price is on time also, but going to see if we can negotiate on the price as well,
I just bought a 2015 RR Autobiography 5.0 supercharged with the rear executive seating and an enhanced performance package. It is completely blacked out except for the red Brembo brake calipers. Black Piano finished interior with silver accent. Absolutely in love with this vehicle !!! It just continues to amaze me. 29 speakers. So quite inside as far as road noise. Paid $100,000 less than original price.
I bet its so quiet esp with the 5.0 , I personally think RR/LR age very very well compared to most and at 2015 RR will have all the mod cons that some cars dont even have today.
My first car was a 2003 RR HSE. Next was a 2011 RR HSE. A week ago I sold the 2011. In the 5 years I owned it I had to replace the transmission $5K, air struts 2K and other smaller items. When I sold it the front AC Blower wasn't working which would've cost $2.5K. I told myself I was going to get a lexus instead. Put a deposit on a 2018 GX 460. Soon as the car came in and I got inside I knew I couldn't do it. The 2018 interior looked older than my 2011 RR. So I did what any sane person would. I bought a 2016 RR Suoercharged. It has 57K miles and I purchased a 5 year/125K warranty. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand. The drive, the look and the prestige is unmatched
At least you know what you like!! There's nothing wrong with paying the associated price of having what you like in life! Enjoy!! (And the newer RR's are more reliable than ever, at least power plant wise)
Which warranty would you suggest for a used RR? And how much is it approximately? I am planning to buy 2014-2015 RR and do not want to have a surprise 😳😳 thanks a lot!
Coming from a family who only drives range/land rovers (my mom has a 2019 velar, my dad has a 2020 RR Sport, my sister has an 08 RR sport, my brother has a 2016 LR discovery, I drove a 2014 LR4 (now I drove an Volvo XC90 r-design). Before the 2020 & 2019 my parents had 2014 & 2016s, they have only ever had these vehicles because there a symbol of how they made it in life and how safe they are, my dad loves the convience. We have not had a SINGLE major issue with any of our range/land rovers. My sisters 08 had to get a new transmission last year when it hit 130k miles, but that's it. My parents havnt seen any issues either. My moms 2016 Range Rover sport before her velar had air suspension issues in 2018, but that was the only issue. It all depends on how you take care of your car. Make sure you have all the Scheduled maintenance done on time and address any issues wether it's a weird smell or different noise coming from anywhere done ASAP, on top of just driving responsibly...
I bought a 2013 3.0TDV6 with 29000Miles 4 years ago.. Autobiography, Now 55000miles 93000KM. Replaced battery, normal servicing, but issues with the rear tailgate auto opening. To date still only have 3 out 4 operations working, top tailgate will not auto close. Love the car colour in gold with black , fully equipped car.
If you're fairly handy with a wrench, things likes brakes and rotors, airbags, compressors, oil changes etc. are fairly easy to do and not that expensive, as labor is free. Major things that can go wrong can go wrong on any vehicle. If you like it, buy it.
Great review! I’m just recently bought my fourth big body Range Rover. Really appreciate a honest and fair review. It gets so old hearing people complain about the reliability of RRs especially used ones. Maybe some of the bad comments/reviews are from people that have heard of someone else complaining because they themselves may not be in a position to purchase one. I realize some will have issues as will any auto brand. I have been lucky and have not experienced any problems with any of mine. I did have to replace the brakes and pads on my 2016. Admittedly that was expensive but it was after 4 years of owning it and as you said these are not light SUVs. I love the look, ride and drive of all the RR’s I have owned and would not by another. I’m very loyal to the brand and believe when buying a used one, just like with any car, so much depends on the previous owner and how maintained.
There are many factors forsure, and maintenance, when it comes, will be expensive. My opinion is that if you enjoy the car and drive it a ton, some maintenance is worth the experience !!
@@sidneyhill7064 - I took it to a LR dealer where I use to have faith in their service department. New GM fired all the service managers that had been their for years to bring his own people in. I was told I needed new brakes and tires as well as a minor service. I honestly don’t remember exactly what the brakes/pads cost but I do remember when I went to pick it up the service receptionist gave me a bill for $4,000. Obviously I went slightly postal when I saw a $750 service charge for something I was texted that it needed but had not heard of it and a $500 increase in the quoted price of the brake pads. The next day I entered the service area being sure they and every customer knew I was there. After demanding the service manager he proceeded to tell me he made a mistake in the quote for the brake pads because mine was a 8 cylinder Supercharged model and he quoted based on a 6 cylinder. I found this funny considering he was looking at my truck on his computer when he quoted me. The $750 charge, according to the service manager was a service for models with either 50,000 miles or 5 years old. I pointed out mine was 1 1/2 years old with 9,000 miles. I said what the hell then. He said we texted you that you needed this and you ok’d it so we cannot refund you but since I would not have recommended this service I will discount your new tires by the $750. Yea right. So if you take the $4,000 and deduct the $750 and $500 you get the approximate cost of the brakes plus the minor service which would be $2750. I went down the street to a Mercedes dealer, ordered the tires, had the, put on, aligned and balanced and it was still cheaper than the LR dealer with the $750 discount. I do not blame my RR, just the crooked dealer.
The dealership for the most part are crooked, I have a certified independent mechanic I deal with, I could get brake pads and rotors all around plus service fee for under $900. Theirs alot places you can purchase tires like Simpletires.com for example and have them shipped to wherever you want them installed at. As a matter if fact I will be doing that in the next 2-3 months on my 2015 range rover hse 22 inch tires. Depending on the tires I choose I'm looking to spend $900 -$1200 on tires plus installation.
@@sidneyhill7064 - Thanks. That’s good to know. My problem was that no one could order the 22 inch or at least that is what they said. I do need to find a good independent service place. The dealership I was talking about had a fantastic honest service department before the change of the GM.
I bought a 2017 RR Sport new and I was a little leery about the LR-RR brand but rolled the dice anyway and couldn't be happier . Within my company we have BMW's, Mercedes and a Tesla and this Range Rover, and by far the Range rover is the most reliable and has the best quality of materials and construction. I wouldn't hesitate to by a used RR. I would definitely buy a used RR before the BMW or Mercedes and definitely not a Tesla as that car in our fleet it the worst of all of them. I now have over 80K miles and have had zero issues other a minor software issue when the system upgraded to AppleCare but now with that feature its better than ever. I do not think I would buy new if I was to purchase one myself for my personal vehicle but I would buy used.
Honestly ive had 3 range rovers alredy two of them were bought used 1. was new i made 100k km before i have sold it (no major issues in 4 years happened) 2. i still have it curently at 110k km 3 years old no major issues the only one is with rear parking sensors sometimes glitching and not wanting to stop bliping for 20sec) 3. curently at 200k km 9 years old and no major issues yet the only one was with a leak) so my answer on should u buy one used is: if u make a good check on its past if it looks good and if its a decent price go for it. And yes i havent driven them only to a mall i have put some preassure on them like a little bit of snow offroading and driving in some deep mud and i can tell u they impress me every time i drive them they go everywhere u take them, they drive good and the driving position is amazing.
I’ll never understand how people debadge a Range Rover. It’s like taking the “Rolex” out of the watch. Ya it’s still nice, but definitely not the same 🙄
Last year I bought a 2014 V8 Supercharged Range Rover with 77k miles on it, today, a year later with 88k miles, zero problems, nothing, just gas and one oil change. I love it.
@@sidneyhill7064 Awesome! I believe that Mercedes, BMW and other brands are jealous of Land Rover. Looks like they pay a lot of money to have magazines say bad things about it. To have a reliable vehicle you must take care of it, or you’ll have problems, no exception.
I agree with your assessment! I bought a certified pre-owned 2016 Land Rover Range Rover HSE in 2018. Knock on wood but its been a very reliable vehicle. The only issue is the windshield. The windshield has wires in them so it will defrost snow. Kind of silly since I live in California but it came with the car. I'm on my third windshield and its got a chip on it now. I have a zero deductible comprehensive insurance so its not a big deal other than the hassle of taking it in. I have a friend with a 2017 Range Rover sport. same issue. He is on his third windshield too. Other than that, the car's been great. Interesting to note too that the wheels stay aligned quite well. I don't take it off roading but my previous BMW X5's alignment was constantly off. Tires don't wear out as much as my X5 either. Anyway, I like the ride and the looks of the Ranger Rover. Especially the front. To me, the curved headlights looks better Than the squared up look of the newer version.
Any RR HSE Supercharged after 2016 comes with 380HP... I have a 2016 and I bought it in 2019 with 34K miles from original owner who bought it brand new and who always had it serviced at the LR dealership. The car is perfect... barely have suspension faults where you simply just have to drive below 50 MPH or simply restart. 100% buy a used one owner RR HSE 2016 or newer. Original owner paid around 115K with upgraded options... I paid less than half of that... yes it was a great buy.
We are family of Rovers and still own 4 to date and enjoy each if them regularly. We have no issues to complain with and we also own Toyotas etc. The Range Rover ownership is really not bad like what they say as far as reliability etc. We have no issues with any gremlins even on our old Discovery 2’ (we own 2 D2’s and total of 5 Rovers with 2 of them being a 2021 phev models). Other brands needs modification to offroad but rovers dont and maybe taller sidewall tires is all if you do hardcore wheeling and thats it. Most cant afford the repairs due to to the brand but to each his or her own really. Cheers !
You will not have any problems with the car if you maintain it. Change the oil every 15k kilometers and the oil in the Transmission and diffs. I have a jag xf with 220k kilometers still driving. My next will be a range rover sport diesel. The best one with economy and comfort. Cheers!
I own the TD6, it could be one of the best cars that I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned nearly 60 cars. Super cheap-“used” because everyone is “scared”…. Not a single issue and we’re at 75K-miles
I've been riding a RR Sport for almost four years. A great car. It's just a shame that the 3 liter diesel engines, engine type 306DT, are very susceptible to crankshaft bearing damage. The repair of the following engine damage costs € 20,000.
Apparently like this: Oil change every 10,000 km Avoid high engine speeds. If possible, avoid engine temperatures that are too cold, so head to the garage. Nevertheless, there remains an increased risk of engine damage due to incorrect engine design.@@luberengajohn3463

I’ve owned 7 rovers, currently has 2, both are 17 hse v8 supercharged, these suvs are bar non best suv ive owned, I had x5m, srt jeep, escalades, and this suv in its v8 supercharged form, with the 22” wheels is the best. I had an LR Discovery Series 2. It was a 2000. I had it from 2006 to 2015. In 10 years, I sunk $ 10,000 into it. The repairs never stopped. I loved it when it ran and hated it when it broke. You will constantly be fixing leaks.

Basically but it for 50-60k instead of 120k plus. It will save you a lot of money not matter how well off you are. Plus owning a rover, the long one as the one within the video, makes anyone look like a baller as long as the cars exterior is sporty and aggressive
Yes I got your message, it’s all good, the Sticker price was $119,466 fully loaded, got it for $45,446 warranty bumper to bumper, no worries or problems as of yet. But no even worried about it all, I don’t get things to worry about them

I love the Land Rover Range Rover, I’m thinking of buying a new p525, I know it’s not smart to get a new one due to the depreciation but I figure it’s only money. Can’t take it with you. Better enjoy what’s left of life on earth.
Hey that’s a hell of a way to live life !! And the new Range Rovers are awesome cars. My only suggestion if you want to buy a p525, would be to find a lightly used one for a bargain :)
That’s a smart strategy at this point !! Considering the all new model is likely coming in the next 12 months or so, waiting for the facelifts is a good call
Mechanic of 35yrs, unless you can afford to buy new I advise the money savvy amongst you to stay well clear of luxury used cars, not just range rovers but all so called high end motors, yes you could get away with a year or if your very lucky two years without having to throw money at it but when it happens its not pretty. just my advice take it or leave it.
This is actually great advice... while I think Range Rover's get a bad rap, a 45k used Range almost certainly will cost you more in maintenance than a new $45k car... It's just that the new $45k car won't be as luxurious or have the provenance of a Range (but at a cost of course)
CarMax RR has a bumper to bumper 125k warranty, with $50 deductible, and costs 10k. I bought a 2015 sport supercharged with 56k Miles last year, I’ve used 3,500 of the warranty - 1 air strut, alternator, and shifter spring.
@@kendesilva468 seems like a good deal. With these luxury cars, someone has to pay to play. If not, there are options like cheap kias etc. I rather pay to play because I only have one life to live. 125k is a good deal. How many yrs?
This video is very helpful. Looking to test drive a 2016 Range Rover HSE with low miles, so far from dealer pics I don’t see any letters on the hood and back: very unusual. Is that a sign the car is not worth it?
Do you mean no Range Rover badging on front or back similar to the car in this video? If so, someone likely debadged it, which isn't a huge deal and can be reversed for a low cost. I personally prefer badges though, so I certainly understand!

My 2020 range rover has problems already fk that shit… not only I lost 20k the first year in depression, i have been at the dealer almost every second month. Worst part its all dumb repairs, was on warranty but holy shit my old amg merc had wayyy less problems
Great video and truthful but Who ever you go to that chargers a few thousand dollars for brakes I would definitely never use them again. If your air bags blow and they will over time and usually do because they have had a flat and has lifted it up without turning the air bags off or due to a dead battery for an excessive amount of time and it sat lowered you can easily just convert it over to springs and shocks for around $1000-2000 they make a kit for it. With any automobile you have your hood and bad also it always depends on how well you care for the car. I have seen rovers with over 200k miles without any major problems but it was serviced regular and not driven like it was a race car. I do like buying used vs buying new because of the resale value does suck but a 3-4 year old very low mileage luxury vehicle with all the bells and whistles for half off is a great deal. They do have bad reps but all vehicles do it’s all depends on what you like. Chevy people hate ford and so forth so on.
Several thousand dollars to replace pads and rotors? Where in the world you get that estimate? I forgot the dealership of course. I can pads and rotors all around under $900
Probably not in this crazy market, and probably not if you want a stress free and low cost ownership experience... but absolutely, if you can afford a nice example at below new pricing and afford to maintain what is otherwise a fantastic luxury vehicle!

Thanks

Hahahaha that last sentence right there. You know what you're doing you little rascal hahaha.
Well said!
Also did the Kelly blue book, so there asking price is on time also, but going to see if we can negotiate on the price as well,
@@fordstone2725 That's what's up 🙂👍. And you're putting on ceramic brakes? Wow!
Where did you buy the warranty?
Thanks for sharing this!! I was on the fence!! But looking at a bmw as well
Which warranty would you suggest for a used RR? And how much is it approximately? I am planning to buy 2014-2015 RR and do not want to have a surprise 😳😳 thanks a lot!
Thank you for your honesty Mr. Gardner. It's greatly appreciated. 👍😎
Great comment!! Thank you for sharing your experience, sounds like quite the stable 😎
The Range Rover is just an awesome looking SUV. Maybe subconsciously it’s the brand image but still a beautiful SUV
Definitely agREed!!
Nah it’s really that awesome
I bought a 2013 3.0TDV6 with 29000Miles 4 years ago.. Autobiography, Now 55000miles 93000KM. Replaced battery, normal servicing, but issues with the rear tailgate auto opening. To date still only have 3 out 4 operations working, top tailgate will not auto close. Love the car colour in gold with black , fully equipped car.
Doesn't sound too bad!! Range's get a bad rap, but many "high end" cars experience small electronic issues with time and use...
How much did it cost to service brakes and how service it? Thanks
All fair points 👍
Honestly ive had 3 range rovers alredy two of them were bought used
1. was new i made 100k km before i have sold it (no major issues in 4 years happened)
2. i still have it curently at 110k km 3 years old no major issues the only one is with rear parking sensors sometimes glitching and not wanting to stop bliping for 20sec)
3. curently at 200k km 9 years old and no major issues yet the only one was with a leak)
so my answer on should u buy one used is:
if u make a good check on its past if it looks good and if its a decent price go for it.
And yes i havent driven them only to a mall i have put some preassure on them like a little bit of snow offroading and driving in some deep mud and i can tell u they impress me every time i drive them they go everywhere u take them, they drive good and the driving position is amazing.
There you have it folks!!! Thank you, you just validated my opinion with actual tangible examples :)
I’ll never understand how people debadge a Range Rover. It’s like taking the “Rolex” out of the watch. Ya it’s still nice, but definitely not the same 🙄
Haha ya I’m not a huge fan of debadging myself... but I think the first owner did it and my buddy didn’t bother putting it back on
When there are 20 badges in and out of the vehicle, debadging the most visible and ugly ones IMO makes it look more sleek.
I don’t like debadged look but talk about being transparently shallow. I guess a guy like you should buy enlarged badges and extra ones lol.
Last year I bought a 2014 V8 Supercharged Range Rover with 77k miles on it, today, a year later with 88k miles, zero problems, nothing, just gas and one oil change. I love it.
Happy to hear it! 🥳😅🙏🏼
I have a 2015 hse for about a year and 0 problems
@@sidneyhill7064 Awesome! I believe that Mercedes, BMW and other brands are jealous of Land Rover. Looks like they pay a lot of money to have magazines say bad things about it. To have a reliable vehicle you must take care of it, or you’ll have problems, no exception.

Hi mate, how’s your sport going?
The windshield is a bit annoying yes!! This one has the heating function too, and I can't stand it in direct sunlight
Sounds like a great deal for you!! Congrats
Cheers!
You’re right, and can’t go with that diesel torque 🤤👍🏼
I own the TD6, it could be one of the best cars that I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned nearly 60 cars. Super cheap-“used” because everyone is “scared”…. Not a single issue and we’re at 75K-miles
I've been riding a RR Sport for almost four years. A great car. It's
just a shame that the 3 liter diesel engines, engine type 306DT, are
very susceptible to crankshaft bearing damage. The repair of the
following engine damage costs € 20,000.
how does someone avoid that damage or its inevitable.
Apparently like this:
Oil change every 10,000 km
Avoid high engine speeds.
If possible, avoid engine temperatures that are too cold, so head to the garage.
Nevertheless, there remains an increased risk of engine damage due to incorrect engine design.@@luberengajohn3463

Great review I’m convince is time to get one if these bad boys
Dealer will literally charge 7k to 8k for air suspension. Usually when its over 100k miles it will fail
Ya it's the one big risk... but luckily there are both many lower mileage used examples, and Range's with warranty left!

Looking to test drive a 2016 Range Rover HSE with low miles, so far from dealer pics I don’t see any letters on the hood and back: very unusual.
Is that a sign the car is not worth it?
Do you mean no Range Rover badging on front or back similar to the car in this video?
If so, someone likely debadged it, which isn't a huge deal and can be reversed for a low cost.
I personally prefer badges though, so I certainly understand!

What’s the story with the engine check light 💡 is on ?

2. 2020 SE with 20k miles at 70k USD
In 2016 new tyres and brake pad. So I don’t think any major expense in the near future other than engine.

I own a lexus nx and love lexus, and they are very reliable, but i do like the range rover sport and the velar, and will go and look at them but i am nervous about leaving lexus reliability.
Haha ya it's pretty crazy because those cars about the polar opposites in terms of reliability -- with Toyota and Lexus, reliability comes before anything; with Land Rover, it's like 4th on the list.
They still get a bad rap, partially undeservingly, but it's quite the jump nonetheless.
Why you have the engine light ON IT?
That was only because the car was in auxiliary power mode (the engine was not running while the battery was on)... notice no check engine light in the driving clips!
As soon as a car or suv leaves the dealership lot. That car depreciates by $5000 and every year that follows and lets not forget that mileage.
Which is why buying CPO can often be the financially savvy thing to do!!
I ve sold my 1,5 year old lexus with 20k miles for the same money that we bought it )
Is the two empty cans included with a Range Rover
Lmaooo
I have one sitting on 22s 2011 Range Rover Land Rover Sport supercharged everything is leather still beautiful car I got from a business man in Illinois Chicago he had it in the garage sand for a couple years he never drove it still a beautiful car I got a 17500 from him and I drove it back to Michigan it was amazing I'm passing cars like a still standing it makes a lot of haters turn

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE GT Limited Edition for 6900 🤔 looks nice wonder if something wrong with it . I mean that's cheap what you think just wondering because one near me is less than 7 k and it's nice

@@Reoniz bet
You cant upgrade the headlights and front rill to facelift version ????
You technically can but it's quite pricey so I would recommend it!! It's not like the pre-facelift looks bad 😎
And my velar’s engine blew up after 4.5 years old and 75k miles.😢
How much did you spend to repair it?
@@Passportbros8 i didn’t. They wanted $24,000 for a certified refurbished engine. I got a new car instead.
@bw2082 Man, that's crazy price. I would get a new car too if I were you. Smart decision, man.
@@bw2082 Don't let the beauty fool you, man. These cars look tempting to me. I was looking to buy a range rover used at 32k on carvana. But something is telling me I need a second-hand car just in case the rover goes to the shop. I'm going to be smart and avoid it all together. It's simply a liability.
@@Passportbros8 I am done with the European luxury cars after the range rover snd a BMW. I didn’t have too many serious problems with the BMW but I am tired of $500+ every time either of them went to the shop. I ended up getting a 2024 hybrid Honda crv touring edition.
Great review. Thank you. Im looking at one now. Be blessed bro.
Thanks brotha! Good luck on your search 😤👍

The check engine light was on during the review 😩😩
Bro range rovers are luxury tanks. Parts take a beating because. They also share some parts with land cruisers. People that complain about reliability are just the very very few who’s used cars weren’t taken care of maintenance wise. That are awesome. I grew up on Hondas and Toyotas but these Range Rover are way better. They take a beating man. Get one! Try it out you live once.
They sure do take a beating... especially as far as a luxury vehicle is concerned!
Thanks for this video! I’m thinking about buying a used Evoque.
No problem! I have an Evoque review as well if you're interested !
I bought one last month.

Great video thanks man
Appreciate you!
its like the iphone of suv - great, elegant and status symbol- but, with the reliability of FCA and GM combined. Great suv if theres no issues.
Haha ok I can dig that analogy 👍
@@Reoniz seriously if Range Rover has a toyota reliability - they can easily become the best ever SUV -
@@jd5179 maybe one day 🤞
Hey I wanted to ask if you know Do range rovers have backup cameras ?
They almost all do, especially newer ones!!
It wouldn't be a every day car either .like the weekend or special. Occasion. So what have alot of where and tear in it.
Great perspective. But it's still a hard no for me.
Thank you, and fair enough!!
All these videos numbers are off. They are over 100k new and 70 to 80 used. Real question is how are the v8s? A used pick up truck now a days costs 40k
You know this is a 14' V6... and this video was made a year ago...
Even in todays crazy market this wouldn't fetch $45k!
One lucky dealer's gonna get their pie off you 🤣🤣
@@Reoniz every dealer everywhere is getting pie from everyone. 🤷♂️
@@Reoniz and yes I know. That's why the question asks how are the v8s in reliability
@@joesnyderburn4278 ha ok... fair enough.
Ya know I haven't had too much long term experience with those V8's, but I'd imagine they're similar in terms of reliability to the V6.
I'm not sure it makes much sense to get the V8 unless you need an otherwise loaded to the guts RR or really want an ever so slightly more potent power plant.
Edmunds is probably your best friend in that regard. Cheers 😎👍
In comparison which car is worse for reliability? E60 m5 or this? I’ve handled e60 m5s
Thanks for the honest review.
Gotchu! 😎👍
@ Evans, nope something had came up.
Check engine light on ?
Should I buy a used 2020 Discovery base, 6k miles; registed on May 2021 on $33K?
Nice men. Does it have a 3rd row seat
No the full size Range Rover doesn't have an optional 3rd row, but the Range Rover Sport does!!
I loved that style so much. But it doesn't have a 3rd row. Very disappointed for that nice suv.
@@rya4841 ya it's a bit of shame that it's not even an option, but there's an all new Range Rover full size coming out very soon... so who knows, it might get that option!!
Günter SalcI've been riding a RR Sport for almost four years. A great car. It's
just a shame that the 3 liter diesel engines, engine type 306DT, are
very susceptible to crankshaft bearing damage. The repair of the
following engine damage costs € 20,000.hner
And it moves up and down that's fresh
Also can you tell me what camera did you use to make this video supper clean and clear.
You mean for the driving shots or for the car shots?

My 2020 range rover has problems already fk that shit… not only I lost 20k the first year in depression, i have been at the dealer almost every second month. Worst part its all dumb repairs, was on warranty but holy shit my old amg merc had wayyy less problems
Damn I'm sorry to hear that :/ hope you're able to have everything resolved or get into a vehicle with less issues 😤👍
I can pads and rotors all around under $900
I was referencing the stealership... 😂

Why does range rover price their car that expensive yet its key functions easily break up ?🤷♀️🤷♀️
Hahaha great question, but true of many luxury vehicles unfortunately... Toyotas are your best bet for reliability
So to be honest is a good idea to buy a used one?
Probably not in this crazy market, and probably not if you want a stress free and low cost ownership experience... but absolutely, if you can afford a nice example at below new pricing and afford to maintain what is otherwise a fantastic luxury vehicle!
It’s really nice no question about it but hella expensive to maintain
More expensive than a new Telluride that's forsure
