In 2018, Will Wood and the Tapeworms recorded demo videos of them performing newly arranged renditions of unreleased songs in front of an intimate audience of fans at Backroom Studios in Rockaway, NJ. Originally intended for pitching to labels, these videos were used to help along the process of crowdfunding “The Normal Album” by giving supporters a preview of what may be on the album. These videos were taken down after the album was released, and as Will Wood has worked toward re-tooling his catalog and pre-production on his next album, were kept under wraps until now. This special feature includes new edits, and behind-the-scenes peeks at the process of creating the first ever arrangements of “I/Me/Myself,” “Laplace’s Angel,” and “Memento Mori.”

You can tell Will Wood is a cosmic entity forcing the affectionately named "tapeworms" to do this because if you look close enough, you can see the fear in their eyes.
I totally get the part there he makes a mistake and just starts smacking the piano. I do that whenever I mess up a song I’m trying to learn. People get mad at me for it.

People talking about I/me/myself need to keep it in their pants. Did you hear EVERY OTHER SONG AS WELL?! Laplaces Angel was awesome. I love the original, but occasionally I feel uninterested in it for periods of time because I need variety, and this means I can just listen to different versions of it without feeling bored!

I'm really happy to see this version again, because it was my favorite version of Laplace's Angel and the first time I heard the song ever, before The Normal Album. It gives me a lot of emotions... Never have I found a singer as complete (talking about his singing skills and composition skills) as Will Wood is. Simply admirable

I just discovered this guy while working offshore, where I listen to music constantly. Laplace's Angel just got me hooked. It's every instrument and style of music that I enjoy combined. It's like the Mars Volta and Panic! At the Disco fucked and made this dude.
