15 Minute Stretching Routine for Cyclists (Follow Along)

- Stretching after cycling reduces muscle tension, improves blood flow, helps prevent injuries, and can improve your overall performance.
This routine is designed for cyclists, but is a great whole body stretching routine for everyone. Open up the hips and upper body and release tension out of the quads and hamstrings. We recommend doing this stretching & mobility routine after a workout or ride as a cool-down to lengthen and release tension out of your muscles.
Routine:
Lunge with Trunk Twists
Standing Quad Stretch
Tricep & Lat Stretch
Forward Fold with Chest Opener
Runner's Lunge
Supine Dynamic Cactus
Butterfly Stretch
Dynamic Scorpion
Figure Four
Trapezuius Stretch

However, there is an assumption that beginners are as flexible as the instructors or can hold their balance without the use of a balancer like a chair or wall.
