My husband and I use a Rigid WD4070 vacuum for our business. We just got it. It’s a 4 gallon vacuum with a 5.0 HP. It works great! And we got it for $100 and Home Depot. Definitely recommend. This vacuum worked better than our larger Rigid vacuum that we actually got rid of.
The doom drill brush head that kinda looks like a toilet bowl brush really made it some much easier to agitate carpets vs the circle drill brush head that i used to use for agitation. Really helps get in tight spots and corners
Hey Oscar! love your videos! A lot of them are centered around the fact that you have multiple people in your business to work on each vehicle. I’ve been having trouble with time management since I detail by myself at home. Can you make a video on bettering your time efficiency for solo detailers? It would help so much 😌
@@DetailGroove it's our equipment. Part of the lifeline of our business. I believe it's extremely important to know all we can. No disrespect to you or your channel. I've learned plenty from it. 😁
I have that exact same 14 gallon ridgid 14 gallon wet dry vac and the detailing kit it’s powerful like if you want to run a turbo brush for dog hair on seats and it has great suction
I remember I started with a $20 Bauer vac that was 3 gallon and 2.5 horsepower 😂😂 definitely not ideal but it was something to help me get started and stay within a budget, I’ve since upgraded but the journey is crazy lol
Hi Oscar, would you mind please telling us about the 3-shelf shop carts in your shop? That's exactly what I'm currently looking for. Love your videos! Cheers - Luther
Hey Oscar, for home use, is steammachine from harbor freight enough?, also. The compressor is it needed for home detailing? Sorry maybe is not the goal of your channel to recommend on non-professional detailers, but maybe a video for home car detailers. I just detail my own cars as relaxing therapy. Thanks for content.
Hey bro I have ?. I want to make my side detail hustle into a business, but I already have a career. I am an ironworker make great money around 100k a year working 40 hours per week no over time. I like cleaning cars man. Not at all a professional at it. I am still learning techniques and procedures. But so far no complaints. How can i build a business on the weekends or spare time. I love my job and good at it, but I enjoy detailing.

I detail from home also but by appointment only. When I don't have details I build furniture from my backyard. Works out great.
It's a little comical
Vacuum: I don't know much about vacuums
Air Comp: I don't know much about air compressors

These are such small details.. no reason for us to know more than what we need

As far as the vacuum hose, you want it at least two sizes smaller for a 33ft hose; in order for the vacuum to be efficient as if it was Factory length
