Don't fight the market. Take what the market gives you. If there's volatility, use it to your advantage. A down day tomorrow is a good opportunity for long term investors to buy quality stocks and ETFs cheap.
Picking quality stocks require a lot of factors and seems daunting for beginners like myself. I would say the ideal thing to do is investing weekly into my Total Market Index Fund.
From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need a good life, made over 600k investing with an advisor in my corner and I believe anyone can do it if you have the the right approach. Index funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term.
That's been the problem I've had.. I bought a week ago set a purchase for a Dip price... I did not know it would trip on a major short attack that would have me on my last nerve... Watching 320k investment drop 110k this past few months has been torture.

I have worked 8 years as a grass cutting service, I take all my payments electronically in my 8 years I have used Apple Pay one time for a single client. I have had 400+ customers and 95% of them use Venmo or Zelle to pay me. Apple Pay is slow and it’s horrible to use for me. I am glad no one requests to pay me that way.

Tough one to hold, hoping to break even and exit my position but idk if it'll even hit $200-300 range again like in Q3 of 2021.
I would like to see PayPal acquire robinhood. It’s cheap and it already has users that PayPal can feed into. PayPal would also be buying a news company that Robinhood has built out under the radar.
PayPal could acquire the company and put in heavy investments to rebrand it. Robinhoods expanding user base will work great for PayPal. Hopefully can acquire at a decent price.
What is the value of Robinhood? Mostly a gambling app right? Does paypal want to lose reputation by going into gambling? Wouldn't it be smarter for PayPal to go into being a digital bank?
Joseph I have a question. With Twilio earnings coming out tomorrow and their expectations to start turning a profit within a year, are you considering adding them to the story fund or are you sticking to your original thesis about only keeping companies that generate positive cash flows since interest rates are raising? I am down 70% on them and am still bullish, but it gets harder and harder to hold each month.
