I always appreciate that 3 star up is always a positive with Destiny, I know a lot of booktoker/ UA-camr see it as a bad thing but I agree, you can still love and enjoy a 3 star book

I’m sad that the books take place in high school, i’m 23 and I don’t really know if I want to read about people aged 17, 18😂 I wish they were in college

You really need to read King of Scars and Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo. They're another duology in the same world and has some continuation of characters from Six of Crows. Personally loved them just as much as Six of Crows!

-My top favorites of the year had to be The Butterfly Project by Emma Scott & The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon. Consider giving Butterfly Project a shot, even if you didn't care for Full Tilt. It's got excerpts of a cool artistic element, themes of forgiveness & chaos theory, a beautiful love story set in NYC in winter, a sweet happy ending. Love both characters sm!
-Bright Side (& 2nd book Gus) are practically my fave books that gave me a new look on life! (Still need to read Franco)
- And my fave childhood friends to lovers stories are Swear on This Life by Renee Carlino & Up in the Treehouse by K.K. Allen!

27:25 The Mortal Instruments is a series that is so worth reading, even with the insufferable plot twist. If you can look past that in the early series, you get some of the best content in the world. If you can't deal with the plotline it took though, I would HIGHLY recommend The Infernal Devices. I would recommend that series to anyone, regardless of if they've read the rest of the Shadowhunters books or not. It is my favorite series of all time since I was like 14 and has remained so for 8 years and counting. But really, without spoiling anything, The Mortal Instruments is worth pushing through the plot twist.

If your looking to read more nonfiction books a really good one is “I will always write back” I read it thinking it was a romance it is not but it is so good.

I also read shadow and bone so I could read six off crows. I hated it so much that I still haven't read six of crows 'cause I'm kinda sick of this world. Everybody told me that the crows are so much better than shadow and bone but I'm scared that I'm not gonna like it. ...
