So I love this so much. I definitely hear elements from their older stuff mixed in with the new and it's a perfect combo. As someone whose loved this band since 2009 they just age like a good wine. This stirs me spiritually. 🤘
The beginning gave me Black Widow vibes.
As someone who's a new fan, and definitely knew a few other songs, but never really "listened", have been binge listening all the older stuff the last two months and kicking ones self for not realizing how awesome they are all these years. 😃😃🤘🤘
For some reasons parts of this gave me Violet Skies vibes as well as Black Widow, I really dunno why tho but I'm digging it!

I think this album is going to fantastic and return to form, every song so far has been fantastic.
I love the sound change, artists can't redo the same pieces that we love so much and why should they? As an artist myself, if i knew more people liked one specific piece, I'd be understanding, but it would be a waste to repeat that style for them when I want to be able to experience and experiment every corner of my full potential and evolution and reap the benefits of being just that- a creator. Loving the direction ITM is going in! My biggest hangup with Ritual was that it wasn't metal enough for my liking. I'm glad to see that ITM is moving in a direction that carries the same message as ritual (power through independence) but staying on the heavy elements that were seen in Blood
I love how this band is evolving as artists and musicians - painting their musical landscape with the best of their past as well as new ideas and sounds. Maria's voice is amazing! I love her metal screams, but I love hearing more of her singing voice because it's so beautiful.
