The simple Explanation: The input of a wireless keyboard is made through a transmitter and a reciever. These 2 components require a DRIVER which might not be recognized by the BIOS the motherboard came with, but by an operating system only. This is why the wired keyboard works. It is the standard for most motherboards.
Hey, I have a asus rog strix x570-E and I’ve tried literally everything for hours. It stays on the republic of legends press f2 or del screen. I do have a green boot light and a yellow dram light on with a 02 number on the bottom of my motherboard. And yes I reseated my ram multiple times. I tried a wireless keyboard and went wired and it still didn’t work. I even tried a wired 100% keyboard and it didn’t even power on. Can someone
Try pulling your bios battery with the computer unplugged from the wall and while the bios battery is out, hold the power button for a minute. Now try again. If that doesn’t work maybe a new bios battery if you have one kicking around. Next try removing all cables attached to the board except for motherboard power and CPU power. If your computer boots. Power down and plug each cable back in one at a time and try to boot to single out the bad connection. Sometimes bad USB ports can affect boot. Hope this helps my friend. 🤞
Im on the Secure Boot screen, where i have to enter 4 numbers but my wired keyboard wont register whenever i try to type it. Would this keyboard help with that too?
Try a different USB port with your wired keyboard and really rapidly mash your BIOS boot key from the second you push the power button. What board do you have?

You have to clone the entire drive my friend only because there are hidden partitions which contain files and an index structure for your computer to boot from your C drive.
My wired keyboard also not working and bios is also not uefi so it is struck at the bios startup thingy in gigabyte please tell me fast or my father will beat me even though it is not my fault
Try this. Turn off and unplug power from computer and pull the BIOS battery and leave it out for 10 minutes. Then reinsert the BIOS battery and see if it can boot correctly. To access GIGABYTE BIOS, you just need to press “Del” key when starting up the PC. Then, press F8 and you can enter the Dual BIOS.
Wired keyboard usually always works. Some motherboards are different but across the board you can't go wrong with keeping an old wired keyboard kicking around for situations like this. 🙏
@@AvinashKumar-qb5pb Different motherboards will have different BIOS command keys. It could be that there isn’t an option for the keys you mentioned if certain ones are working but others aren’t. 🙏
Try a different USB port. Sometimes the ones on the back that are plugged straight to the board can work better. Also try to use F2 or ESC to enter the BIOS before the “press any key to boot from USB” message. Hope this helps my friend. 🙏

Do you have any other install keys you can try to see if the problem is the same? Have you recently updated your BIOS? if not I would recommend that first through the BIOS if you have access to another computer to download the latest firmware (BIOS) for your motherboard and make an install key to use on your computer. Sounds like a bad usb port. Try a different USB port and see if you get the same results. If not, it might be the dngle itself that's bad.
