@@josegarza5938 - that's an interesting take that we shouldn't care because we aren't playing with him.
Just for the sake of discussion I'd follow up and ask:
- If MPO player "X" stepped on their mini 14 times per round should the viewers care?
- If FPO player "Y" were to frequently hold back tree branches to have a better line to the basket should the viewers care?
- If anyone were to scream obscenities after a dozen shots during a round in nearly every round you ever watched - should ONLY the card care or might others?
I'm not trying necessarily compare any of these random acts but I think my point is if you have a habitual offender of any kind doing something during the round it makes sense that "Joe Public" cares and gets somewhat frustrated by it. It's the same reason we all scream at the TV when you watch an NBA player blatantly travel. You know it's against the rules and you hate to see it happen, regardless of player or team or personal like for the person.
Anyway - I have to trim his putts considerably so that people will still watch the videos so that alone means I should care. With all of that being said - I have said 100 times - I like him as a person - he just needs to hurry up his putting routine (along with anyone else that habitually exceeds 30 seconds).
I like the 18 hole production. The less videos I have to add to a watchlist the better. Ty

Thank you soooo much for trimming the putting antics. I really dislike throwing my normal bag in rocky terrain, but when I trade out my discs I don't feel as confident. 18 holes in one video is fine.....I'm just happy to be watching golf!

As someone that is 6’5” it’s helpful but in some situations with low ceilings, or getting under a tree to get to a disc is harder for me so would like to be a little shorter

The combined round is a nice touch. I don't think it matters either way since it's easy to resume a video... I nearly closed the video right after the 9 hole score update though.
I once saw a 450 ft black ace at Flip City 😂 now that was wild!
Definitely swapping out some of the special blend rocs when playing along rocky terrain.

They say that watch time is the best for the YT algorithm. I'm fine with the hour long front and back 9's. Good stuff sir.
Being an AZ native, my bag is already geared toward premium plastic. I play at Buffalo Ridge Park quite a bit. (It looks very similar to Hidden Valley.) I learned early on, cheap plastic=chunks and gouges.
BTW...the cactus puns could be a thorny issue
I really like the entire round in one 1 video. I was going to suggest giving a score update after 9, but didnt have too. As for you question, I would throw my normal bag. Most of my discs are premium plastics and quite durable.
100% have a desert bag. Mostly same or similar molds as the main bag but older or found in used bins. No way I’m throwin new $30 discs onto the stone ground at buffo ridge! 18 holes of mountain beats in a disc real quick
I bought three new discs to play a desert course in AZ and they got chewed on by the course. But I’d definitely bring discs I trust, knowing they’d come back with a couple of teeth marks

Two videos with views prolly
There are actually a ton of various reasons. Some of those are significantly outdated and some of them are still very practical to this day.
One great example is just how slow upload speeds used to be 10+ years ago. It would sometimes take 3 or 4 or 5 or 8 hours to upload a 9 hole video and if you lost wi-fi or disconnected even for a fraction of a second for any reason, it would have to be a full restart of the upload. Think: battery dying, computer going to sleep, hotel or house wi-fi glitching for a second, accidentally leaving the UA-cam upload page. All of those things made you start over and there was NO mobile checking of anything. Ahh, I don't even like to think about some of those early days ;)

Cupcake is taking noticeably less time to putt now. Clearly he has taken heed of the discussion in the social media, which is great to see. Not easy to change your putting routine quickly.

That makes perfect sense as well. Personally, that's what I like but I can see how some want it all at once.
One thing that is TYPICALLY found on my channel are less cameras AND a tighter edit. For instance, this round 1 is only 52 total minutes. Sometimes you'll find 9 holes that are taking up that much time alone. Clearly this course is also mostly par 3's and straightforward so that helps too but my point is, if it's under an hour, it feels more digestible.
Big fan of all 18 in 1 video. It's annoying having to click twice. No one watches half a round anyway.
As for the disc question , that course looks relatively groomed. I live in SW Nes Mexico and I throw my best discs on more rugged terrain daily!

so all forms of golf are very much a head game... confidence nervousness anxiety all affect your play. Cupcake gives me anxiety watching him freeze up, I could not play with him without calling him on it because of that. I would never sink a put after him ... ever... It does affect your card! It's gamesmanship on Cupcake's part to affect his competitors, and thats how it should be treated whether the statement is true or not.
Every time I play a rocky course, I leave out any soft rim discs.

Apparently they have been calling him for it & it keeps happening. I dunno why anyone needs that long to putt, after awhile your overthinking it.
The game needs to figure out a consistent, non cardmate based system of enforcing rules. It's holding things back. It makes for a bad look when they then try to market and monetize the tour as a fully developed professional product

It is just one way to make some holes more challenging because the courses often lack in elevation and trees.

Well - to be honest - I haven't seen the entire thing so maybe I should take it back. It was just a bit before my time as I was just 9 when it came out so maybe I should re-visit it. If my opinion is updated and better informed I might have to re-do the entire round of commentary just to make that correction. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do though!

I've already made notes that if the event is back out here next year there are 2 main options:
1) Catch cam is required
or
2) The throw cam has an 8 to 10 foot platform to use on about 16 or the 18 holes. For now having a ton of trees, the shrubs and bushes certainly block a ton of the landings.
(I'm hoping or assuming that's your main concern because if so, I echo it).

"Poor cupcake?" What about his card mates that he's basically "icing" every time he's putting before them. That's not to mention the delay has a ripple effect to every card behind him. He's making everything take longer. Just line up the putt and putt the damn thing. All the OCD flinching and false starting is ridiculous.
If I see “Courtis”, I avoid th-is.
Okay, I just paused after hole 1... if Cupcake's putts are even that long for the duration of the video, I'm out.
I trimmed just about every single one of them. None of them are over 30 seconds and most are pretty short now :)
