Yeah taking 52 seconds to putt is insane. Everyone knows the rule. You can easily time yourself and get a routine under 30 seconds. So annoying
Being mad about 52 seconds in a sport about relaxing outside is fucking wild. Even tournaments aren't a race. Chill the fuck out and stop getting offended over the dumbest parts of the sport.
The cupcake thing, what I do is while walking to the next tee, give him a heads up nicely to watch his time... I warn my fellow cardmates before they do a fault to prevent them from being called in the future!!!
This is the way. I’ll give people a friendly warning early but like you said, better to take it once the hole is completed. Reduces the friction to a minimum.

People that complain about putting timers and foot faults are by far the only thing wrong with disc golf. What a horrible community its been since I found the sport. Incredible sport, one of the worst communities there is that cares about incredibly stupid things instead of the game.

That's not disc golf. Yeah, sure, some stuff spits out, but not like they do on the Prodigy baskets. There are far too many spit outs that confuse everyone that should not happen. It's a Prodigy basket problem, NOT a disc golf problem.
No it's a basket problem. Bring some stats, not just emotional gut narrative. This exact spit out has happened on every brand of basket in a tournament.
