I love the way they have the bed facing the balcony where you can watch the water and wake up to such a gorgeous view. Thank you so much for sharing this video. Amen
I was just on the Celebrity Edge but stayed in a standard veranda room on deck 8. Nothing blocking my view & no added frills. Interesting seeing the little differences and similarities. I loved the ship! (When originally picking out my room, I noticed there were notches going every/other room in the floor plan. When the notch was closer to the door, bed was nearer the door. Notch closer to the veranda meant bed was right next to veranda - I picked out this version. I only add this part in because it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the week -- waking up with a floor to ceiling view of what's outside (Alaskan Mountains) -- I kept calling it a living art piece as various scenes would slide by. I slept with the blinds totally open because I LOVED waking up to the view outside.) The ship was so clean, they are constantly cleaning it. I loved the artwork, fixtures, colors, etc. It didn't feel like a gimmicky cruise ship; it felt like a modern, cozy hotel. Water not included in my room, but I prepaid for bottled water to be stocked. As you pointed out, also has really great technology integrated into the experience. Even though my room was smaller, couldn't hear my neighbors at all, except when veranda window was down. The spa on this ship is unreal -- incl with aqua deck.
Zak, Just watched your video on the Aqua Sky Suite and the Celebrity Edge and your trip to Australia. My wife and I may want to book a 11 night cruise to Australia and the great barrier reef early March of 2027 that we found on the Edge with Celebrity. We have never been to Australia but your vlogs sure have us interested! We also have our first experience on the Edge class on Ascent for 11 nights in a Aqua Sky Suite to the Panama Canal and Southern Caribbean coming in March of 2026 as well. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for watching and for your thoughtful comment! I’m thrilled to hear that my vlogs have inspired your travel plans. Australia is certainly an unforgettable experience!
Thanks Zack! Another great video! ...and thanks for doing REAL cruising videos. We know it takes a lot more work than the talking head videos, but we do appreciate it and your video quality is always great!
Thank you so much! I actually prefer to make the REAL cruising videos over studio talking heads. I try to time my travels out just right so I consistently have fresh cruise content on the channel.
We were booked in a Sky suite on the Beyond but were able to upgrade to a Royal Suite. Even if we didn't upgrade (we did so mainly because of unlimited specialty dining) we would have been so happy in the Sky Suite. The things Celebrity does in terms of layout to the cabin are so good, why aren't other cruise lines doing it? Something so simple like the bed facing the view of the ocean or that ingenious sliding mirror in the bathroom. These things make the cabin experience so much nicer. Great tour, Zach! ❤
OK just finished watching...another great video - thank you! If I may ask...how did you feel about this vs. the Sunset Sky Suite on the Reflection? Obviously the Reflection has much older decor + the cabin had a different location...but I'm curious if you felt this was vastly superior or if the one on the Reflection had some better features. Thanks again!
Thanks you for the tour! I found Celebrity's upgrades a bit confusing, from (in order from least to most), Concierge, AquaClass/Blu, The Retreat/Luminae, and what you enjoyed, the Aqua SkySuite! I noticed you had premium towels (marked with the embroidered fern), upgraded bedding, and pillow menu. Glad you enjoyed!
Thanks Zach another great video. We spotted you on the Edge as we were on the same 11 day cruise. We experienced "the Retreat" in a Sky Suite also on deck 10 (10144) and it surpassed our expectations, the whole experience was fantastic. We're looking forward to booking it again.

Wow what an inviting space, especially the bed placement

Really spacious layout. Wouldn’t mind sacrificing a bit of room space for a bit deeper balcony space. Never enough space in those bedside tables.

It was definitely an amazing room. Thank you!
We put in a move up bid from a magic carpet suite. Fingers crossed 🤞

This one was much better than the room on Reflection! The bathroom was much bigger and I loved the tub on Edge.
@@ZachtheTravelingMan wonderful...thank you again so much!

How cool, Gary! I wish I had gotten to say hello. I am so glad to hear you had a great experience.
@garymanuel2465 have any photos you’d be willing to share? I was considering that exact room on an upcoming cruise.
Woohoo!
I’ll be in a sky suite in June! Finally!😂
Woohoo! You’re gonna love it!!!
All cabins on Celebrity are supposed to have robes.
Can’t do it as a single all the time but maybe once…
or two or three times... lol
@@ZachtheTravelingMan lol yes!
What was the room number please?
