      It took me a while as well, you have to make sure and do exactly the same thing she is and it’s doable.., it takes a few try’s, but when you get it, it works, next thing is figuring out proper tension when sewing, when you master it, it’s a great machine for quick work on thinner fabrics.

      It's a shit video but the technique is correct however before I learned it I used a broken toothpick and tweasers. But really you just have to have the thread close enough to the needle when you bring it down so that it can come up through the hole when you lift the needle up again, it's tedious but it's the only way

    how thick is that elastic? is it 1/4 inch?

  • @cbear7893

    These instructions are backwards. They teach you how to sew first before they teach you how to thread the machine. Then they teach you how to thread the bottom bobbin before the top bobbin when you clearly need the top bobbin threaded first. So frustrating!

    does this works to sew uniform patches on??

    • @cheyennewarner5801
      @cheyennewarner5801 4 роки тому +1

      Angel bluerider I wouldn’t think it would do to well on something so think with my experience using it, it tends to stop on thicker fabrics.

    I clicked on this video solely to see how the top bobbin is set up/strung through. I noticed this machine tends to work fine so long as you correctly run the two strings. IMO most "sudden stopping" is due to incorrect string positioning. After that, it's the weak motor jamming up. Unless you're sewing straight up denim, this machine should work fine.

    • @strawberrygecko2721
      @strawberrygecko2721 2 роки тому

      Oh wait so denim won’t work with this machine? :(

    • @DynoMerchandise
      @DynoMerchandise  2 роки тому

      Hello Strawberry Gecko - correct, the Stitch Quick is designed as a mender of lightweight fabrics. Denim may not work with anything but a sewing machine, as those are made for many types of fabrics. Feel free to send us an email at CustomerService@DynoLLC.com if you need more help.
      Thanks!

    My machine is pausing by itself after every 2 secs
    Please suggest something

    • @cheyennewarner5801
      @cheyennewarner5801 4 роки тому +2

      Rachel Nadar it’s your tension, it’s not right, you need to adjust tension and put needle into low position again and press start again, this happens when the tension is too tight or too loose, it is a delicate balance, I still get pauses every now and then. Good luck. Sorry I didn’t see this post sooner.

    what is the function of the adaptor hole near the handle?

    • @DynoMerchandise
      @DynoMerchandise  Рік тому +1

      Hello Robiah - thank you for watching! Although the machine is designed to be most effective using batteries, it can also be used with a power cord (which does NOT come with the unit). That is what the adaptor hole is for. It is not a common power cord (see instruction sheet for details), so you have to search online if you want to use the machine without batteries.

      Hello Rapunzel! So sorry to hear that you were having difficulties. I know this reply is a little late, as we didn't have an employee assigned to answer these comments and questions, but I do have the instruction manual that I downloaded, and I can send that to you in email if you wish. If you do not want to put your email address here, please feel free to send an email to CustomerService@DynoLLC.com and I will send you the basic instruction booklet!
      Also, there are several other UA-cam channels that have tutorial videos on the Stitch Quick, like VianneyCreations, so you can maybe check that channel.
      Thanks!
