Bro’s got real taste. Fentanyl Tester goes so hard. Also Chappell Roan getting some love. Seeing her blow up after her Coachella sets is awesome. Coachella in general was just a wild time to watch. No Doubt killed. Vampire Weekend killed. Bleachers KILLED. And yes, even Ice Spice was a blast to watch. A true entertainer. Speaking of Coachella, Lana Del Rey? Don’t know if you listen to her but if you don’t, please consider a Norman F***ing Rockwell reaction. I WILL be SEATED for that.

Hi Justin. Thanks for introducing me to Chappell Roan. Been listening to tracks, and they sound terrific. Slight hint of Tori Amos maybe?

Not sure how you did Spotify Wrapped for the month. I can find it for all of 2023 minus Nov/Dec. I like looking at my music statistics even though it doesn't really represent everything I listen to as I still buy and listen to a lot of physical albums. By looking at my Spotify profile (I had actually screenshot it on May 1st for my own kicks), My top song for April was "Purple Dress" by Liam Finn. Top Artists for April were Pearl Jam, Mark Knopfler, Sarah Jarosz. As for the Peter Gabriel album, i/o, it made my top 10 albums of 2023 at number 9. Favorite track from it "Love Can Heal". Agree with you in that i/o is not really anything new and inventive from Peter Gabriel. So from that aspect it is disappointing. I still enjoy it for what is, mostly good music from an artist that I love who still sounds incredible despite his age.

Hi Justin! I agree with you about the Peter Gabriel album. I listened to the tracks on UA-cam, as they were released each month, and ultimately, I was a little underwhelmed!
Although I am an old bloke, I do occasionally still like listening to new artists. If you enjoyed Wet Leg, I think you might like English Teacher's debut album, "This Could Be Texas". They are a young, talented indie band from the north of England who play quirky songs with just a hint of prog. Their lead singer, Lily Fontain, writes some offbeat and interesting lyrics. The album has received some positive reviews.

@@JustJP Ahh, I was pushing for Wet Leg some time ago. I thought they may be in the queue, but I guess they're off the list as obviously it wouldn't be a first listen. Oh well :)

You didn't quite know how to pronounce Gagarin either 😀 Yuri Gagarin, first ever man into space, so the titles apt. Sorry, can't help myself sometimes... Must say though, these vids show me just how out of touch I am these days. I'd not heard of about 95% of these artists/bands. And spotify !?!?, never used it. I'll have to get my radio off the classical channels for a while. See what else is going on in the contemporary music world, haha.
