Convertible top motor transmission fluid change

How to replace or add transmission fluid for a 2002 mustang, and similar models or other vehicle makes and models.

That is at least what I do Danny, It worked. And yes, after taking old fluid out and replacing it with new fluid the top goes up and down faster.

I just moved stuff in way of hole out of way and inserted a hose attached to funnel to fill it up. Then used a big flat head screwdriver to wiggle plug back in..I keep eguip to fill next to pump as mine has a slow leak..

How do you tell when you have enough fluid back in the unit? Fill till it starts to come out the whole? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know anything about a 2011. My top quit working. I've checked everything but the circuit breaker, which I cannot locate it?

So to take out old oil you suck it out with a bottle? And did it make the top let up and down faster?
