The word Palestine derives from Philistia, the name given by Greek writers to the land of the Philistines, who in the 12th century BCE occupied a small pocket of land on the southern coast, between modern Tel Aviv-Yafo and Gaza. The first written records of Palestine emerged in the 12th century BCE Twentieth Dynasty of Egypt. In the 5th century BCE Herodotus referred to the land as Palaistine, where multiple peoples resided.
@@lookbovine The 12th Century BC record you refer to translates to "P-r-s-t" from it's original Egyptian hieroglyphic. Hardly the first use of the word "Palestine". And although Herodotus used the word "Palaistinê", the area was never officially known as that until Rome named it "Syria Palaestina" in the 2nd Century AD, as a slight to the Jews living there. A better way to debunk the Nakba: The Nakba story always leaves out the crucial fact that this is in the context of a war (that they started). Displacements always happen in every armed conflict. So, when the Arab forces took control of an Arab town now in Israel proper, Israel has to repel the forces in order to maintain sovereignty (this is playing out with Russia/Ukraine today). In the course of liberating the towns from the Arab forces, the towns got destroyed and people had to flee.

It has now evolved into that lovely little jingle “from the river”. We, the Jewish people have been here for 5784 years. Had we committed such horrific sins, surely G-d would have ended it. Other societies and peoples have been destroyed before. We must be doing something right. Is it our praying? Our belief in ה׳? Our common belief in the Land of Israel? People get angry at me but no one can deny that the Nakba was due to intolerance. They could have sold their land or switched with Jews in other places in an organized way, if they owned it and never had a war. The war displaced so many people at once, they weren't tolerated in a way that they would have if they'd done it all without that displacement and devastation and chaos. They didn't HAVE to live with Jews, but they paid for being awful about it.

Christianity is an attempt at an upgraded, compassionate, sophisticated version of Judaism where the primitive tenants of retribution are abandoned in favour of compassion and love. It was wildly successful until 600 years later the singular flaw of Christianity progenerated it's antithesis in Islam. Christianities strength and draw that is compassion and collaboration becomes its weakness when confronted with Taquyya and jihad. Judaism does not have this flaw, but it also lacks the strength and mass appeal to morality. Judaisms is the holding pattern for humanity while the other forms of civilization duke it out to see which one captures the most minds. We are the backup, the disaster recovery solution of humanity.

Was the Nakba off 1947 the great Nakba or were 536 villages destroyed under the leadership of Menachim Begin before 1947 ?! , Sterngang and Irgun. But if you keep bullshitting telling lies it will not be safe anymore. And you cited the lying letter of Chaim Weizmann.
You got your facts twisted. The bombing of the King David Hotel was by the Irgun, not by the Haganah. The Irgun pre-warned everyone to leave: by newspapaer (the Palestine Post), radio broadcast, and loudspeaker. The British command insisted that Jews don't give them orders, but the other way around, and thus refused to leave the hotel. When the bomb went off, innocent people (mainly family members of British soldiers, not Palestinians) were killed, but this was not the Irgun's intention. I've never heard of Menachem Begin destroying 536 villages. (There _were_ villages that were destroyed to make routes to facilitate fighting the *massive* invading enemies, but not to expel people.) The term "Nakba" *was* originally meant to convey the "catastrophic" loss of the Arab states to Israel in its war of independence. The Nakba _is_ a myth! The Palestinians were _not_ forcibly expelled. In fact, as PM David Ben-Gurion says in this video, they were asked to stay.

They expected to murder us all or “push Israel into the sea”. Does that sound a little bit familiar? I remember that saying from when I was a kid.
Whatever the reason is that we’re still here and thriving, we are stronger than ever!

Nakba- the disaster- WE FAILED TO DESTROY ISRAEL.
This is the ORIGINAL meaning of the name. The term changed to the "expulsion" of the arabs" DECADES LATER.
Yeah over tiime they didn't ask for the land. Theyvjust bought parts of the land. Even minor settlements on the claims of religious reasons which i mean i guse. But yeah tha processes kinda kept happening till well Israel is the size today then it once was (eventually those purchases went to no one questioning it. Even if there was people living there still. ) Yeah war helped back then but even after too. But take it as u fellers will.

Sorry Italy, Sterngang was Italian and Irgun was Russian.
How many Palestinians did he murder ?
The Nakba of 1947 was set in motion with the bombing of that hotel by a little group from a university.... , Haganah.
Yeah i know history that is unwritten in our historytextbooks but are recorded on video. Like so many other things......
And then the letter of your so called hero !
Its safe!

You are not to blame.
They teach you lies.
Israel does this since kindergarten and elementary school.
It is part of the zionist project.
So, in other words, the establishment of an Israeli state only drove out 450-500,000 Arabs. And never allowed a right of return. Well that's much better than the 750,000 we've been led to believe. I'm glad that myth has been cleared up.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 Are you really justifying the Nakba (that Ben Shapiro denies), with a biblical scripture? Are you using this ancient text to justify the expulsion of today's Palestinians? It's no wonder the killings continue on both sides.
