Great work! I remember how difficult this was. I can’t remember if the rear subframe is harder or not. What I do remember is how beautiful the ride when everything is done. It’s like riding on a sheet of glass.
I love this video. Now I know what I'm in for. However, I see this may not be a reenforced subframe. They are known to crack where the lower control arm mounts. That's why I'm replacing mine. Mercedes issued a recall for the subframe. The reenforced version is much better.

Nice job ! The spring are very hard to remove, and also very hard to reinstall ! I did it with subframe completely off !

Yes, I know, but the 380SL was not included in the recall. I reenforced mine while it was out; more video's on that to come ...
