Two for One - Twin Sisters Trail

For our final full day, we had planned to make our way up Long's Peak in RMNP to try and conquer our first fourteen-er, but we didn't give ourselves enough time to acclimate and was definitely feeling it physically. Rather than leave empty handed, we decided to take on the Twin Sisters Trail which got us up to 11,600. We haven't reached a summit in a little while so it felt good to push ourselves. This hike offered a bit of everything; steep rocky sections, shaded switchbacks, and a good old fashioned boulder scramble up to the peaks. Great 360 views from up top capped off a great trip.
