- We have had a wonderful three days at Hard Rock Cancun... but the time has come to leave. But no worries, we are just going an hour down the coast to UNICO 20 87 Riviera Maya. This resort is A-MA-ZING!!!! We were greeted by our personal concierge for our stay who had already arranged our dining reservations for us. Then walked to the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in with a view to die for!! This is going to be a wonderful place to stay!!

I was at Unico 3 weeks ago! I was blown away! I am looking forward to going back to Unico!!! I had a poolside room. You can hear the music but it was not overwhelming. Great place to stay. The staff is so friendly and they do take care the guests.

I'll take a frozen drink over a drink on the rocks any day lol I love frozen drinks, it's all I drink on vacation haha
The farther away from Cancun, the nicer the resorts get. It is worth the drive away from the airport to get to nicer resorts. I prefer the beaches in Akumal as well, fantastic snorkeling right off the beach in front on Palladium next door. I will never go back to Cancun after visiting Akumal. If you want peace and relaxation that is the perfect spot. Cancun reminds me of the Las Vegas of Mexico.

Hey guys I stayed in room 1510 April 3rd to the 10th 2021 . Absolutely a five-star resort beach and pool are wonderful and equal as best as the food top notch top notch as our buddy judge smells would say
I love getting a good ice burg They rim a beer glass with salt Fill it half way with beer then lower a frozen margarita into it Cheers

Alisa, I think you said it best. Wow! I like this place because it seems to caterer to comfort. What stands out to me is picking the scent for your room, bringing treats to you when you check in, having sun hats for you. I could go on, that is my kind of place. I think you did mention in a prevoius vlogg that it is adults only? Look forward to seeing more.
Yes it is adults only and they think of so many little extras that make it special!
That feeling when you arrive...and you know you will be back already....thats a good feeling...I take top floor views anyday with a view like that....if you ever have the opportunity to return try the Grand Bahia Principe Sian Ka an....its an amazing spot...viv

Yes like you showed the window between bathroom and bedroom closed, other videos had all kinds of high graphic but didn't answer some key questions.
I was just at Unico 20 87 last week and had an AMAZING time on a much needed solo vacay! I upgraded to an ocean front room and it was soooo worth it. The four restaurants were fantastic and the spa was so nice, I went twice. LOL I got my straw hat decorated by a local artist and also got a chance to enjoy the sauna tub on the balcony my last night in Riviera Maya. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would definitely stay there again. :-)
Does it have a swim up pool ?
@@pamelajohnson9891 There are swim up suites and I remember a swim up bar in the "quiet" pool area.😁
We stayed there in June of 2019. Great place. Make sure you use the inclusions.
This hotel looks amazing, you guys should check out Barcelo riviera Maya grand,It's a complex, you stay at 1 and play at all,I've been 3 times, would love to see you review that hotel, love your vids ❤️

Your videos have helped me so much! I’ve watched so many. I want to stay at unico but would like to go to xcaret parks which are 30 mins away. Do you recommend any other luxury resorts closer to xcaret parks in comparison to unico?

Is the Unico only for adults? I notice the Hard Work had amenities for kids but I didn't see much for kids at the Unico. We are trying to plan a trip in the near future.

Honestly no one ever seemed to be in the pools. I would rather the Oceanview myself. Our view was to die for!

Careful taking sand from beaches. It is illegal to do so in many many places around the world, and if you get too UA-cam famous, you might get exploited for it.

Anyone that has been here, should we go swim up room, or the ocean front with the tub on the patio?
Personally I loved the ocean front! The view was to die for and the balcony was so relaxing. I don’t feel the swim up rooms have any privacy.

You should put your mask on when you open the door for room service. And FOR SURE you should put it on if/when room service comes into your room. Remember, you are protecting others.
