I played the PSP Macross games, they're lots of fun, even got this one and noticed they let you play with the PSP control scheme which was a nice surprise.
Oh it would / could be super special. Not sure when that title came out, but stuff always gets better graphic wise. Very fun game indeed. I know Robotech has a HUGE following (outside) of that region. Shocked there was no "English" version. I love switching in and out of the modes. The fighter, to robot, and then back. A VR game of Robotech would be like ...... WOW! Tech is there now.... just no developer interested in that sort of thing probably. Booooo!
Looks like “Robotech:Battlecry”, that was released on PS2 and OG Xbox. It was a fun, somewhat linear, arcadey shooter, much like this one. This just has better graphics.

The game was not expensive at all. The only thing was the WAIT! Customs and waiting. As far as understanding the game, someone had a "google doc" with a great translation of the menus, buttons, key essentials. I would love to play this game, but I haven't played it in awhile as I have limited HDMI ports on new TV. I do feel like setting it up though! lol

Macross properties cannot be released in the US or the rest of the world because of Harmony Gold and the horrible Argama family. Who sue anyone who uses the Robotech name without paying royalites. If the poster monetizes this video be prepared for a lawsuit.

Some guy had a translation he did on Google Docs of the menu's and the high points of the game. That was SUPER HELPFUL and all that was needed to figure it out. FUN FUN FUN game though! I did have to wait like 3-4 weeks to get it since it came from overseas to the US.

PS3 Macross 30 The Voice that Connects the Galaxy Import Japan (got it on Amazon for PS) Love Robotech. It is in JAPANESSE though, but after a few days you get the hang of the buttons. A guy made an "English" guide that really helped! Hope this makes sense.

There was a guide online at one point where a guy did a word doc on the manual. Told you what was what and that helped a lot. But you can almost figure it out if you are a gamer. Harmony Gold won't permit that. That's why we don't have any english translated games from the series whatsoever. Thank them for that.
