I love this for so many reasons! It reminds me of when Karen and I flew our Cessna 150 into Oshkosh forty years ago. We were so young! Moreover, it is refreshing to see young people still getting the same thrill we did!!
Congratulations on your flight to the world’s busiest airport! Oshkosh is a bucket list item for private pilots. Tension relief with a kiss....nice finish! Enjoy
Great flying and team work. Enjoyed watching this footage as I could not make it there myself. Hopefully in the future events I will be able to attend and it goes as smoothly as it did for you.
I was there in 88 with an Aztec. They had a Concord there. At that time and $400 you could ride the Concord up over Canada and go supersonic. I have regretted not taking them up on that.
Oh soooo envious! Did it myself a very long time ago (last century). Thank you for the memory. I lived the experience again through your eyes. Well done. Next time around you'll be the pros! Isn't it magic?
Super. I learned to fly at Bartlesville, and flew a lot of practice flights at Parsons Tri-City. Great that you shared this unique experience. Thanks! (Nice job, because I bet it was quite stressful!)
Independence KS... my home town. Love the Ralph Mitchell Zoo and Park. We go back every year for Neewalloh and a family reunion, camp at Table Mound. Great memories.
Awesome job but can we get a go fund me for you female Co pilot for some flying eyes glasses.. the wonky aviators had me wanting to straighten them up for her. The shared workload though was brilliant to see and well done for flying the aircraft all the way in and waiting until safe to politely advise your passenger that movement during landing especially placing items on the dash is not a good idea
I was like....wtf with throwing shit on the dash in final seconds of landing...LOL.... The tower says make next left... girl friend immediately says Right here....LOL.. What doesnt kill ya, makes you stronger.
Love this video. What it proves, is 1. all-around visibility in a 152 is pooooor, and 2. two people at an added age of 32 are much more stress-resistant than one at the age of 32... :)
Why are so many videos from the younger generations on UA-cam always showing themselves??? Hiking, flying, whatever - the camera camera is always pointed at their face, rather than the scenery or the place they are visiting. Hmm...
wow, that was a beautiful job. I was most impressed by the focus of the pilot. too many Oshkosh videos of people talking and celebrating and not paying attention. this guy was 100% on task. pro pilot in the making. thanks for showing how it should be done. now, next challenge is doing it with lots of traffic. you’ll be fine if you fly like this.
It would be nice if next time your viewers can see the view that you two saw by attach the other camera on the backside of you. Beside that go pro for looking your sweet couple faces off course. I am sorry. Thanks a lot
What’s the problem, I could look at her face all day long, she’s adorable. And on top of that, what a great copilot/navigator. Great team. I hope you got some footage at the event and I hope you share it.
The RV-14a build is now in progress - updates are being posted on our Instagram @theplanelab
Great watching a young couple truly enjoying themselves. I flew B-52's in VN. At 80-y-o I still fly every week. Stay safe and enjoy aviation together.
Lucky guy.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I have been fortunate...

Awesome copilot. You’re a lucky guy!! 👍👍🙂
Awesome video. Calm cool and collected! Great teamwork and support from the right seat.

Very cute, you two! Been there, done that but reliving it through your experience put a smile on my face! Good job!
Nice work! Could she feel her glasses sliding off? Lol. My focus was the aviators 😂🙌🏻
You guys make a great team, this was great to watch.
This flight was our first long cross country together. We really enjoyed it and hope you do as well!
just loved watching u 2 pilot just listen to the right seat it seems to me she knows where to go fly high have fun be safe watching from PC FL
your piloting skills are great but your co pilot takes the cake
awesome
Great job ! Very nice to see young people flying and enjoying each other !
Glad to see the teamwork in a task saturated environment! Always play it safe, aviate, navigate and communicate in that order!
“I’m trying to slow down here , sweetheart”😄
Great team! Well done. Greeting from Western Australia.
I had so much anxiety when she reached over to put that paper in the dash hahaha great job both of you! So cool!
What a team! Thanks for sharing. It’s interesting to see the approach from your pov.
Great teamwork!!! Sure...some things to sort out, but you did an AWESOME job!!!
Great job helping each other out. Good teamwork.

Fine Job Co- Pilot ... Keeping your head on a swivel looking for traffic always.😎😉
Great job! I remember my first flight into te show. Quite a feeling. You two work well together, have fun, be safe!
Nice job! You guys did it by the numbers!
You guys rock, great team work! 👍🏼

Flew a Falcon 20 in there once. Nearly didn't meet the restriction to leave.
I hope you got straight out of the airplane and proposed to that girl! Loved watching you work together.
Enjoyed the ride .....well done you two
Good job! Cute couple!
Congratulations - may you enjoy many more.
Well done young man! Enjoy! Congrats from Portugal! 👍🙂🇵🇹

We absolutely loved the experience and can’t wait to go back - hopefully next time it will be in a plane we’ve built (current project)
Great co-pilot!
Great teamwork
Outstanding video, I haven't made it yet, hope to next year in my Long EZ, you made it look easy!

Great team here. Good copilot there even if she does have crooked glasses 😊
Great job..really good.
Haha that was great. I grew up in Oshkosh and learned to fly there. I’ve never flown during EAA. Keep flying and have fun!!
That, right there, is a good woman to have!
Nice work - Maule owner just north of you at FSK
Well done team.
Good CRM with you two! Nice job.
Both of you guys did an awesome job I did my first one this year 2021.
The sun glasses though 😂😂 JK.
🥴
Yeah. Not on the horizon ! ;-)
Those glasses triggered my OCD to near meltdown levels
Well done! Cute!

Got those heads on a swivel, good show.
Nice job! Didn't need controller hand-holding. Quite professional.
Nice to see you guys. I meet you at the Elko airport on your trip back.
So cool! love it!
Nice job, it is always a challenge, but worth it!
good job guys. pretty intense huh?
Nice job.
'NICE ROCK, NICE ROCK"
Nice job!! Pilot stress mantra: can't afford to be too fast/too slow, too high/too low. No matter how many you make, it's always the same. :-)
Nice Job. Best destination in the world.
You looked very bold friend!!
NICE JOB!
Outstanding airman
Good job!!
Go easy on the GF at the end there
You two made it look so easy.
Nice video 👍🏻.
Damn. Now I want a aviation babe.
Good co-pilot.
Great video.... I'm afraid of flying ....lol

Why is your flight so silent? no engine noise? thank you
Independents Ks… sweet.. Come see us at 1k1 in Benton.
That pretty much duplicates what is happening in every cockpit entering the show Great job
Wait so why were you guys not talking with ATC??
Yoy're not supposed 2 talk 2 ATC on OSH arrival.
Just rock your wings at a certain point when asked to do so by some sort of JTAC.
Because this is one place where it’s more beneficial to STFU and listen..
I’m sending my wife next year ;)
That has got to be the greatest CS I’ve ever heard on comms “silver vibrator” 🤣😂
Lol.
Im trying to slow down sweetheart lmao awesome

How did you know it was a 152?
@@glendavis1266 Looking at seat belts, it`s not a 172, or is it??😎
tense!
IFR-I follow railroad tracks.
Big ups
how did you not communicate with ATC?
Yes that was my question exactly
You don't...you follow the controller's instructions
On OSH arrival, unless mayday or pan pan, you just listen and keep it shut. You just rock your wings when asked to do so by JTAC.
Good job ... you aren't the new guys anymore... ha
Either the plane is banking or you GF's sunglasses are not level
