I was really surprised how much cutting power (and torque) this saw had out of the box. I've used other (10" saws) previously and was pretty surprised with the speed and cutting ability of this Dewalt saw.I have bolted mine to a table to minimize movement which I highly recommend.This is a Great saw ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe with a light to see your cutting line (not a laser line).I'd recommend this saw fro anyone looking to upgrade from a 10" miter saw.

You can't get any simpler than what is basically an elongated C-clamp. When I upgrade my tablesaw with a longer rip fence, I think I'll be making something similar to this.
Excellent work. I see that all the parallel guides are on the right of the saw. Does this depend on the skillful hand of the operator, right-handed or left-handed, or does it have to do with some other factor such as safety? Thank you very much and sorry for my English.
that's right mate, it depends on the comfort and skill of the user itself. if he pushes with his right hand, it would be better if the fence is on the right and the left hand keeps the rest of the pieces.
It also depends on how your saw tilts. If it tilts to the left, you usually put your fence on the right and vice versa. It's to prevent accidentally cutting into your fence unless you have a sacrificial piece mounted. It also reduces the chance of kickback. Ideally, you should never trap the unsupported offcut between the blade and the fence. That's one way to get a piece of wood thrown into your gut. So unless you're using a lot of featherboards and are cutting long pieces to be able to support the infeed *and* outfeed of the part being cut, it's generally safer to just not put your fence on the side the blade tilts towards.

if you push with your right hand and the fence is on the left, the rest of the pieces will go wild because we can't control it.
