That scream of acceleration, the bites of the upshifts, the crackle when the throttle is let out. Truly beautiful. God I am glad I was born in this time
I have had the honour of hearing and seeing this masterpiece live at Mosport (CTMP). What an aural symphony! A lifetime bucketlister for sure. So loud and awesome

I think this car/engine has to be in the top 5 of best sounding racecars of all time. Everytime I hear this car, I'm both happy and sad. Happy because of the clear and crisp Boxer 6-cylinder roawr and sad, because I get the feeling, that this might be the last hurra of the naturally aspirated internal combustion engine. Is this still a flat 6? How did they make this beautiful sound, did they raise the red line? This is up there with the v10s (bar F1s), some v12s and other handfull of best sounding cars like the 458 GTE/GT2
It's a mid-mounted 4.0L flat six that revs to 9.5k IIRC. It's just basically straight piped. They revised the exhaust ahead of Le Mans last year, switching from twin outlets to a single one and it made a huge difference, has to be one of the best sounding race cars in competition today.
The flat 6 and strait 6 have a regular ignition interval of 120 degrees. That makes them sound high pitched. A 90 degree v6 has 2 intervals. One of 75 degrees and one of 165 degrees. It fires rwo cylinders close together. But the next two take a longer time. Try to find tbe sound difference of a yamaha r1 engine (normal vs crossplane). Same engine but a different crakshaft resulting in different ignition timing --》big sound change

The sound of this 20 minute clip is more exciting than an entire current F1 season
Fantastic thanks for the time you spent at the track for us to enjoy the symphony of the porsche engine getting a good thrash be nice to live near a truly international circuit and spend time doing that
Is this still a flat 6?
I'm gonna make this my going to bed "white noise". This just DOESN'T get old. Like EVER!!!!!! Truly awesome.
I so need to visit Monza too. How can I find out what's gonna be testing and when? I'm in Italy in July and would love to know what day would be worth planning a going.
GREAT VIDEO 👍 Definitely worth packing 6 days testing in to 21 minutes.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for the kind comment! Most of the events and test in Monza are written on the circuit's website at this link: www.monzanet.it/calendar.php
Your welcome!
Thanks very much for the link. We're in Milan/Como on 16th-19th July before heading to Bologna for 3 days. Unfortunately, the calendar at Monza looks quiet whilst we're in the north. Maybe I'll see if I can find out what's going on at Imola instead! It would be rude not to visit at least one of these historic circuits for my first visit to Italy. Can't wait!!!
This actually works as white noise for my two month old baby girl lol. Was watching the video while holding her and it put her to sleep. Use it to calm her down all the time.
This is so true, thanks for capturing this!
I'm back again dude - Def not "the most useless video I ever did" ! One of the best vids you ever done :) I frequently come here to meditate. Sincere thank you Sir 19Bozzy92.
I've seen this legend at The LA Autoshow I instantly fell for it. Porsche sure knows how to make timeless bueaty
Just wow man... that’s amazing I’m in love with this RSR
One thing with this car, it manages to get louder as it travels further away (8:41) :D
The wind was blowing in the right direction that day in that particular spot. Plus a bit of audio levels adjustments XD
19Bozzy92 Haha, true, however I have recordings of the exact same effect sitting in a campsite 3 miles away from the porsche at le mans :D
20 minutes wasn't even enough, let alone 6 to 7. Great video!
What a awesome 20 minute video, sound of that Porsche is making love to my ears, simply stunning
This sound send chills down my spine 😍 You can really feel the power of that engine just by it's roar 😍 What more if we're inside that beast driving it 😍 I just hope that roar won't fade away because of today's trend 😔
2:50 beautiful shot. You can really tell how the car gets further away with each second and even when it gets on the breaks for Ascari.
What a sound, fantastic - i can heard the sound the whole Day
Here after the last ELMS race with GTE cars. It was a hell of a send-off! Gonna miss the RSRs like crazy.
this is not the most useless video you've ever made I actually Love that its 20 mins of pure sound. I actually put this on to sleep so its awesome its 20 mins and not 7 Thanks Bozzy ! keep up the great work.
Porsche 💪🏼☝️👍😊 best engineered car in the world!
Porsche at it's best. Wish Formula 1 sounds like this Car!
Dear lovely F1,
look or better hear at this video and think about it.
Let me know your thinking.
Thank you
Best regards
So true, bro!
V6T will come in WEC slowly
We are in July 2021 and there is no best racing car sound like this!!! The actual car doesn´t sound at all ,likethis! I saw the 6h of Monza last weekend and the two RSR´s Estre´s and Pierguido´s didn´t sounds like this!!! Once more, thank you Bozzy!
It`s not Per Guidi but G.Bruni, for the error my truly excuses!
This car actually does sound like this I heard it at the Long Beach grand prix. Porsche has a newer car now that sounds different.
I quiet often play this video as a soundtrack of what is possibly one of the greatest sounding sportscars ever, Porsche never disappoints
The most beautiful sound in world motorsport!
I watch horror movies... slasher movies.. hear death metal... but THIS gives me goosebumbs every time.. only this.. what is wrong?
