Too true! In all seriousness the car's been incredibly reliable for rallycross. We haven't had any real issues outside of having to replace some tired suspension parts. Thanks for the kind words!
Hello! My best guess is the way you're trying to bleed the brakes is adding air back into the circuit, unless you've got some leak in the system. If your hose on the fitting is a loose fit, or if you don't top off the fluid as you're bleeding it can reintroduce air. When the brake fittings are opened up (with the brake depressed after pumping several times) you shouldn't be seeing any air bubbles in the hose. They'll be present at first but will improve as you keep repeating the process. Start with the brake furthest away from the master cylinder and work your way around the car. Good luck!
A loose cap for the master wouldn't cause air in the brake lines, if I remember the sx4 cap feels a little 'loose' normally. It could be failed internally in the master cylinder if you're certain it's not from being bled improperly

Hey what’s up man, I’m planning to enter Rallycross with a Suzuki SX4, but I found there is no aftermarket support other than coilovers for this car… any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey that's awesome! That is one of the downsides of the SX4 honestly, there's hardly any aftermarket for them anymore. The class we race is is pretty heavily limited to stock vehicles, which helps us be more competitive in the class. The only real allowances we have are DOT tires, small wheel size changes, and adding safety provisions for racing. Our biggest challenges are factory turbo AWD cars, but honestly, we do it more to spend time with each other and have fun.
There hasn't been much to record on paprika (fortunately haha). Im not really able to record during events because we're either working or driving, but we haven't needed to do much to keep her running between events
The class we run in wouldn't allow for raising the ride height, and we'd need more power to be remotely competitive in the next classes up. We've talked about a possible motor swap but it's pretty low on the list unless we blow this one up
@GrindhousePerformance thanks bro ,actually im planning of getting one. Im just looking for an idea how to lift a lil bit or adjustable suspension will work on sx4.
It's a shame that Suzuki left the USA. We have a 2008 FWD/Auto. I wanted to trade it for an AWD/6spd, then install a turbo, skids, and adjustable coilovers that could lower it for rallycross or lift it for offroading. Suzuki shut down here, and so did the aftermarket. These cars could have been an absolute blast on a budget. 200+ boosted WHP and some tiny mudders would be a hoot. My 2016 Crosstrek doesn't have as much fun factor. It's a better commuter, with less noise, better ride, and 40+ MPG if I set the cruise, but it's pricier, nobody really offers performance/rally parts, the center diff doesn't lock, and it's HEAVY for a little car. I also got a somewhat-boring CVT, as the sunroof and fogs weren't available with the 6spd.
It really is. The Forester 6spd we got as a replacement has been super unreliable.. wish someone else offered decent AWD manual vehicles but that's asking a lot in 2021

I'm totally ok with that 🤣
More paprika! I love rallycross builds.
There hasn't been much to record on paprika (fortunately haha). Im not really able to record during events because we're either working or driving, but we haven't needed to do much to keep her running between events
Can't wait to go toe to toe with you guys in my new SX4!
well new to me lol
Looking forward to it! This sport needs more SX4's!
How about gas consumption?
We pretty much only use the car now for Rallycross, so I can't really say how its effected mileage
Do you have any plans of lifting the car? I'm looking forward to it bro.
Sounds proper now!
Thank you!

High quality content right there
Hey thank you so much!
Sounds nice!
Hey thanks!
Pipe size?
This was 2.25", the factory was 2" if I remember correctly 👍
With those pliers they are even better when you use wd 40 or pb blaster
Definitely!
I have a 2009 sx4 in the same color!
The best color for these!!
The Forester 6spd we got as a replacement has been super unreliable.. wish someone else offered decent AWD manual vehicles but that's asking a lot in 2021
Damn sounds good 😳
I was pleasantly surprised Haha! Thanks!
Watching from India
Glad to have you!

(translate) I want to do this in mine here in Brazil.
It was really pretty straightforward, there's a lot of room to work with! 👍
Has anyone ever engine swapped a Vitara 2.4 four cylinder or Vitara 2.7 V6 into an SX4 ?
I don't think I'd seen one finished when I was researching options back in the day. Just people pulling out the stock engines then the thread going quiet
I love sx4, it is better than some jeeps
This car is constantly impressing me in all honesty!
Same sound as Zastava 101 😂😂 ROFL
Probably about as fast too LOL. My wife is obsessed with this little thing haha
Man you are a genius

next is to lift it...
Hahahahahahahaha yes
Says suzuki sounds like Honda
🤣 the magic of 2 liter 4 cylinders
You need to normalise your audio volume during editing - no way should my ears be blown out by your music and then barely able to hear you when you talk. That's a slight exaggeration, it's not TERRIBLE but it's not good and it IS important to get that right. Otherwise I enjoy your style :-)
I hope you find my newer videos are better about this.. annoyingly on the computer I edit on I didn't notice it at all but when played on a friend's TV it was super bad.. I've since changed microphones, lowered the music, and have tried standardizing my levels video to video to be better about this
i daily a 2010 sx4 I would have never thought it was a race car, but it is a stick, might see you ohio #rally
We don't win terribly often but it's been a lot of fun 🤣
straight pipe is illegal
