If you want a clicking drag in a full sized baitcaster just upgrade your Daiwa reel to the Zillion. For sure my favorite reel!
I have almost all the dobyns sierras man they are my favorite bfs rod! The 700c works perfect for the 25 md and 25x. The 701c or 740c works a little better for bottom baits or non exposed hooks.
Man I’ve caught so many flipping those trd bugz with a eighth oz tungsten it’s unreal. Probably my most used combo for the last year or two

Man, I put the same reel on a Shimano Zodiac Rod and I use the hell out of it. It has caught me some tanks for a couple of years. I absolutely love it and it will cast a mile. I think you will love this.

I have a Coayu Slide Sinker that's 23 years old and they sink, they had a floating version to, but they're not making them anymore, Megabass realesse this bait 1998, so they're not new, like the most BFS Modells from.Megabass.

Dude I have been shot with a BB. The rule was 2 pumps and the mfcka put in max pumps and shit me in the ear. That was around 40 years ago and I’ve been bass fishing just as long. So BFS, my first rod is the same one on the video paired with a Daiwa alphas air. 4lb sniper. I’ve had this setup for a couple years now but two weeks ago I hooked up on a 3.5lb LM. Bait was a 6gram evergreen firecraw square bill. You talk about fun. I’m def gonna expand my bfs baitcasting lineup. Cashion has a couple nice rods and tackle warehouse has an exclusive Cashion rod. I’m def gonna get a curado and an Aldebaran. I definitely think the bfs system will help during the slow hot months. And man I can wait to try these setups for SM on Lake Erie.
I'd say 90% of my hard lures are 6th sense, some rapala, jackall, and river2sea mixed in. Rods, I'm like 90% dobyns, you'll love the sierra bfs, and I know you work with 6th sense but try a champion extreme and I promise you won't be disappointed
A guy almost needs 2 bfs setups one with flouro and the other with braid/mono for your top water lures

Cool to see you fired up on the bfs. I’ve been throwing stuff on my setup for over a year now, and I love it. Texas rigged mini stroker craws with a 1/16 or 1/8 bullet is my go-to. Can’t wait for the vid! I’m waiting.
You should work with 6th Sense to come out with a Heater series BFS rod! Im 100% in if you make that happen! Maybe BFS baits as well! I have the exact same BFS combo, but mine is the 6'9"

I have been looking all over UA-cam for this question lmao. If you run a leader on braid with the curado dc. Depending on the length of the leader would you run the braid setting or the setting of your leader??

That's dope! I bought the same Sierra rod for my BFS curado and absolutely love it! Had a blast snatching bass off beds with a zman baby goat and a 1/16th weight at my local reservoir last spring. Thanks for the video!

Welcome to BFS!! I got into it this spring up here in WI and have caught Smallies, young largies, Crappie, Rockbass, and a couple Bluegill on my BFS gear. You are in for a treat when them feisty Guads hit that light gear, from what ive seen and heard they are nearly comparable to Smallies of the same size.
Just curious why you didn’t open the baits like you usually do. Up close and personal, but why not this time?
Because they are tiny and expensive and I didn’t want to lose one before I got to fish with it. Decided after I shot the video that I had to for the thumbnail. Sorry brotha.

J when I was a kid we used to have BB gun wars. I rule was 1 pump, that never happened. My local police department caught us one day and we thought we were in trouble. No they gave us safety glasses and told us don’t shoot anyone widows out and kept in moving. These days that would never fly. Welcome to the world we live in today. Bunch of candy asses!!

Hit with a led pellet? Yeah you could say that, when I was 12 me and my buddies use to play army with BB guns. That was until I got my front tooth shot out! Broke it right in half and had to get the rest pulled out. I’ve had a fake one ever since. Not fun! Oh well life goes on!!

Hate to be a party pooper, but be careful with that Dobyn's BFS rod..i got hung up on some pads..barely tugged on it, and it broke in two places..90 bucks for a replacement when rod was a 150+ only used it 3 times.

Oh yeah, been smacked by a pellet or 12 back in the day!😂. Dude you make a BFS HEATER and I’m all in!!! BFS is really fun and works great in highly pressured environments. I enjoy it for inshore saltwater too! I’m going to try those 6th Sense crappie baits on mine.👊🏼
