Well, Mine lasted 1 hand towel fix and half of a thin pants leg hem and now it won't pick up the bobbin thread. I'm guessing there's no warranty or even parts for this little junker...

Try loosening the top tension of tad. Also double check that the top thread is ready correctly.

They should. Just make sure the width and length of the bobbin matches the bobbin that came with your machine.
I am having a hard time understanding how the bottom bobbin catches so easily
I think that these may BS videos meant to torture us and they’re not accurate. My pants are still too long.😢
