I'm currently a part-time writer, and I find that some of my best content comes in fits and bursts throughout the day, so writing on my phone is very helpful to me as well.
I've been cutting out more and more of my old daily activities to devote to writing. Things like tv and social media are taking a back seat to what I want to accomplish. Having a dedicated space (even a small one) is essential to my productivity
I'm so inspired. Honestly. You're incredible. I'm going to start waking up at 4:30. When you have a full time job and are in education that's the only way to find time (I'm doing my postdoc and working full-time so I feel yah.) Stay amazing. ✊🏿
Geat info! I deal with chronic medical issues, so I'm sadly not employed or in college. I should have all the time in the world, but I still get very little done, despite sitting and writing/drawing nearly every day. I wish I could go to art school for some mentorship, but alas. You've come with this subject at the right time for me. I want to create my own training/work curriculum and become a pro despite everything, something that works with my condition. :)
I am stunned. You, Sir, are incredible. Chapeau. I'm inspired to get more into/out of my days. I believe in past videos you have mentioned going to the gym. Do I remember correctly? Your straight body posture certainly indicates you're keeping fit. How do you squeeze that in as well? Also, do you think nutrition contributes anything to your massive productivity?
Thank you! I wish I could get to the gym more, but yes, I try to get exercise in the summer months as I can. I just got a puppy so I take her on long walks. That helps. And yes, nutrition absolutely helps. The better I eat, the more productive I am. The challenge is being consistent. ;)
@@AuthorLevelUp Thanks a lot for your reply. And wow, you even added a puppy to the mix! All the best for you and your two and for-legged family members!
I write first thing in the morning before life hits. I have ideas about my writing that I note on my phone throughout the day but not draft content usually. For fiction, are most of your projects outlined in such a way that you can pick up writing on the go and have the product ready for revision? I'd love to see you outline a piece of fiction with Scrivener from collection to finished outline. I'm really struggling to make the software my own and it's the outlining that kills me.
Wow. You inspired me a lot. You are the perfect exemple that time isnt a excuse. Wish you the best, cheers from Spain

Hole-y buckets! Your schedule is insane and extremely inspiring!
Your hustle and drive are inspiring to me! Time to go hit that word count 😄
When I was in law school, I didn't had time to even eat. Props to you!
I'm so inspired.

I feel like a lazy slob compared to you, Michael! Lmao
Awesome video, Michael. You’ve inspired me to take a fresh look at my own time management!
Time management is so important to squeezing in time for writing. Especially when kids are a part of the equation and you have to work to live.

I admire you so much! You are amazing!
Thank you :6
You're a true beast.
My average day is a mix of being a student and writer and busy working bee. I try my best. Currently writing a novel.
*_Thanks Michael_*
