I agree with you small divers becoming more popular is a good thing in my opinion. It opens up different watches to more people which can only be a good thing! I'd love to see more micros pulling out some 36-38mm divers as well as some of the big boys!
Feel like the quartz is better for sports activities running, going to the gym, playing with the family. Automatic’s are great but damaged movements are not fun.
The SNE really is an awesome watch and I've had my eye on one ever since your first video on it. I'm just surprised that they haven't released more versions of it yet! Fingers crossed we get some good ones. Looking forward to your SRPK video👍
Yeah now that I think about it, they haven't released anything new since the blue and green dial versions, and the fully blacked out one! Unless they slipped them through without telling anyone but yeah I really do hope they put out some more variants, the save the ocean collection is putting out some great watches so I wouldn't mind getting a save the ocean SNE!
For an alternative bracelet for the Seiko, may I suggest the Fostner Klip bracelet (Bonklip style). The brushed links with polished ends matches very well with the watch head. This lightweight bracelet matches very well with this smaller sized watch. Combined weight is 83 grams.
I've been so close to getting the 575 so many times lol the combo of design and color looks spot on and I've been close to getting the 573 to swap bezels and have one ready on a strap and one on a bracelet. Still tempted 😂 but yeah definitely try on the BB54 it feels great!
sne569 is a great watch. I recently bought long island bracelet. Much better and it has a nice taper. The original bracelet was starting to pop open every now and then, that's why i went with upgrade. Wearing it much more often now.
I have small wrists, I have Tissot prx in 35mm and Tissot Seastar in 35mm. I want to get a seiko in 38mm do you recommend the seiko SNE569? is it quartz?
Great video and discussion especially around specs and proportions and how the stated case diameter doesn't necessarily translate the same between watches.
I've also been gravitating to smaller watches over the last few years but have definitely not lost touch with bigger watches in my collection. My LHD Pelagos is a staple wearer in my collection at 42mm.It's great to try other watches of styles and sizes to get a view of other models. I did ponder an Explorer 36 a while back and ended up trying a BB36 to get used to the look and it worked really well to my surprise so an Explorer register of interest has been made. For a diver things get slightly complicated as how a watch wears has a bit to do with the bezel and dial ratio. A diver tends to have a bigger bezel for timing and hence the dial real estate is reduced for a particular case diameter. My BB58 looks like the lower size limit but at some point I'll give in to the desire to try the BB54 and I have a nasty feeling that my wallet will be less than happy but we shall see. At the moment I have more than enough dive watches in my collection and it would be a difficult decision to decide which would have to leave to make space for another. Great work as usual TWI.
I agree, small divers are great. I recently picked up a 38mm Cadisen 62MAS, cream dial on rubber strap. It is a good looking watch, a joy to wear and will be my summer dive beater watch for 2023. Cheers!
Too small generally, But a good thing for those with very small wrists I suppose. Though dive watches are supposed to be very legible and easy to read under water, which makes me think they are supposed to be on the larger size
looking at that new smaller tudor the way I read it is that tudor is actually trying to make one that is ment for diving given the way the lugs and the size are rigged up, as its much more rounded and contoured and how they've gotten rid of the reddish and green indicators on the time counter thing, as that stuff disapears when it gets dark so it would fit better over a wetsuit and not get caught on things although the still dont have a bloody date, also solar quartz, doesnt that stuff DIE like after 3 years, as that is 355 dollars and its not even an automatic with the SNE569 like that is abit much, and quatz's do fail, like honestly a Casio 106 for 50 bucks would be a better buy, and that comes with a rubber band so it doesnt bang up everything it comes into contact with, and is actually surprisingly damn comfortable like seikos' I dont know what their is about them, but their just not worth the money, and if you know where to look, you can actually get an automatic for 50 bucks like they almost seem like their Honda trying to be Mercedes Benz with their pricing, tudor atleast you keep the money
The 54 is way too obsessed with its chocolate brown and custard lume vintageness for my taste, your silver 58 or the blue are much better thanks to their modern designs
I love Seiko but you have to admit the Tudor is a better quality watch, I love Seiko but my tudor 1926 and my new Black Bay Burgundy on five link bracelet is a better quality watch

Selling the 013 is my only watch regret. I'm quite tempted with the new 5's especially the white dial.

SNE still my favorite of my 8 watches
It really good on the oyster bracelet from long island too
What specific Long Island bracelet? I’m getting an SNE and I want to change the bracelet. Thank you
@@kevwedjakpor4541 searth for the watch on the sight, it says what model its for
Very keen to see a side by side review of the 013 and the 54
I've never considered an SKX013 before, but on the islander bracelet, it looks great! Nice review.
I love all 3 of these. I own 2 of the SNE varieties (573 & 575). Next time I’m at Tudor I can’t wait to try on the 54!

Dude, awesome idea putting up a poll with a link to the video. I'm sure I would have seen it eventually but the poll is front and center.
Lol I swear I was about to not post a poll this week! I'm glad to hear that someone saw the link there 😁
Nice perspective, good work on an outside the box recommendation!
Good options for those on the waiting list for the BB54
For sure and the good thing is that these can definitely coexist with a BB54 as well!
Brilliant suggestion to try out more affordable 38mm watches before buying the Tudor. Cheers.
Yeah 37mm can be risky and might as well get an awesome watch out of the testing process right lol!😁

Hi WI, for the SNE569 how much will it cost to replace the battery/capacitor? Would it require servicing?
Can the new seiko 38mm have same parts for modding with the Skx/5kx???
Great video and discussion especially around specs and proportions and how the stated case diameter doesn't necessarily translate the same between watches.
what strap is your skx013 on?

I'm interested in how the 54 compares to the 36mm seamaster professional

Where can you get an SNE569
Check also the Christopher Ward Trident Pro 300. Incredible quality
that SNE could totally be a cheaper alternative for the pelagos 39 (source: I own the p39 and it looks very similar)
The Solar Diver is very nice. Would be even nicer with a domed sapphire and no date.

Had an SKX013 for years now.
That's how I know a BB54 would be too small for me.
The BB58 is better looking as well.
Skx013 oozes japaneseness.. charming retro, tool watch...

No new Seiko in this upload….
Greetings fellow poors
There is no way I'd wear a watch that small let alone a diver! They looking like children's watches!
🤣
Try Invicta.
To each their own! 37 is under my sweet spot of 38-40 but it's a nice change
So you clicked on a video titled “two 38mm divers…” just to say you’re not interested in small watches ? Maybe you’ve go too much time…
You are clueless buddy
Too small. Not everyone is 5ft some of us need bigger watches not toys on the wrist
Oops I forgot that I'm 6'3"😬
😂 it's personal choice, I have a 7.5inch wrist and enjoy the BB58 at 39mm.
