@@nostalgianetwork1225 animatics like this usually have more off the cuff placeholder lines in place until scripts are finalized, since adults are the ones doing the voice acting and the audience is other adults you're pitching to. Theres a lot of elbow room.
I honestly think it could work on Adult Swim. They did the same with Samurai Jack, and it was done exceptionally well. I feel like a darker tone and more mature theme could suit this series and let them deal with issues for older kids and young adults, like growing up. Plus it would just be pretty epic to see the KND take on the GKND. It would be pretty ironic too (in a good way) if it went on Adult Swim, cause the very first episode was the KND stopping adult swim lol.

I dont think it will be on Adult Swim, atleast i hope it isn't. For most of the eastern coast Adult Swim is at midnight, and most people aren't really awake at that time. And if it does happen, i kinda want it to be after a period of time, because im the leaked video, numbuh 1 looked like he was 13, although in this one they looked about the same age when he left. Atleast let them be 13, so then it will actually feel different and kinda exciting.

It shames me how Cartoon Network dedicates so much time on shit shows and spin offs like Teen Titans Go, but don't spend any time on a legitimate original hit that they themselves came up with.
It's been a bit over two years now, and I still feel so salty and toyed with that this turned out to be a teaser with no promise at the end. All that hoping hurt me so badly, and the fact that we got Samurai Jack S5 announced around the same time didn't help me feel any less disappointed. I would legit kickstart a full season of GKND done entirely in animatics. I would pay for a subscription service. I would throw my money at Netflix. I'd buy it in comic format. Anything, I just want to see more of this universe and these characters as they are now. I'll always be waiting for this. Just like I waited for Samurai Jack's finale, even though I didn't have much hope of ever seeing that either. :/

i don't see why they won't bring it back. Everyone wants it, the show has a lot of potential, the story could go a number of different ways. if cn doesn't greenlight it Netflix should. It would be great for marketing too, i mean if the industry is looking to sell stuff look back to when knd first started up, it had the most merch of basically anything. There is almost no reason why cn shouldnt just make this or put the rights for the show in the public domain or sell it to Netflix. i know some company sees it's potential
So rumor is KND is being re aired on Boomerang. Two shows that got re-aired on Boomerang got brought back (or rebooted). Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans let's hope that it being aired again will bring G:KND into fruition

I dont think it will be on Adult Swim, atleast i hope it isn't. For most of the eastern coast Adult Swim is at midnight, and most people aren't really awake at that time. And if it does happen, i kinda want it to be after a period of time, because im the leaked video, numbuh 1 looked like he was 13, although in this one they looked about the same age when he left. Atleast let them be 13, so then it will actually feel different and kinda exciting.

I find it pretty cool that they played the whole hack as numbuh 3 and 4 screwing up the deadline on releasing the video.
It shames me how Cartoon Network dedicates so much time on shit shows and spin offs like Teen Titans Go, but don't spend any time on a legitimate original hit that they themselves came up with.
It's been a bit over two years now, and I still feel so salty and toyed with that this turned out to be a teaser with no promise at the end. All that hoping hurt me so badly, and the fact that we got Samurai Jack S5 announced around the same time didn't help me feel any less disappointed.
I would legit kickstart a full season of GKND done entirely in animatics. I would pay for a subscription service. I would throw my money at Netflix. I'd buy it in comic format. Anything, I just want to see more of this universe and these characters as they are now.
I'll always be waiting for this. Just like I waited for Samurai Jack's finale, even though I didn't have much hope of ever seeing that either. :/
Check again. Mr. Warbuton reuploaded the trailer for some reason. It says "Stop the GKND 2021." Why would he do such a thing out of nowhere? We may have finally got our wish.
i don't see why they won't bring it back. Everyone wants it, the show has a lot of potential, the story could go a number of different ways. if cn doesn't greenlight it Netflix should. It would be great for marketing too, i mean if the industry is looking to sell stuff look back to when knd first started up, it had the most merch of basically anything. There is almost no reason why cn shouldnt just make this or put the rights for the show in the public domain or sell it to Netflix. i know some company sees it's potential

So rumor is KND is being re aired on Boomerang. Two shows that got re-aired on Boomerang got brought back (or rebooted). Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans let's hope that it being aired again will bring G:KND into fruition

In a perfect world, Teen Titans was renewed for a season 6, Spectacular Spider-Man continued after Season 2, and GKND got greenlit.

Honestly this series could have gotten a Samurai Jack treatment, since Number 1 was aged up it would imagine Sector V would be teenagers.
