When I lived in Edogawa city there was a 711 very close to my place so I have fond memories and am partial to 711 it was very convenient to just grab a quick lunch then go back to my place and do homework, very good food and inexpensive ( especially when compared to the 711 where I am from 😂) Though I think I prefer Fami-chicki to the nana-chicki, I am so excited to be visiting Japan in a few weeks and now that I am not a student there I will have way more time and funds to enjoy so many amazing foods and drinks 🥰
I love 7-Eleven too! It's my favorite convenience store! Famichiki from FamilyMart and roll cakes from Lawson are delicious too! If you come to Japan, make sure to try a variety of foods :)
I visited Japan for the first time last year. The convenience store food is wonderful. I probably ate 20 cucumber sandwiches in 3 weeks from 7-Eleven lol.
I am headed to Tokyo in May 2025 with my wife. I am a super picky eater, but have committed to trying everything that Tokyo and Japan have to offer. Really appreciate this channel and this video.

There was a Family Mart below my hotel and every night I bought a few of the desserts. They were so good. I loved the crepes and the different kinds of ice cream. They also had Monte Blanc and cheesecake. 👍🏻👍🏻

Every year during Halloween, crowds would gather in Shibuya, but I saw on the news that last year, people were also gathering in Shinjuku and Roppongi :)

Convenience stores help me a lot, becoz most restaurants open late (10.30-11.00) and early open restaurants are very crowded. however sometime I can't find the product you recommended, maybe they sold out. I always buy Coffee Jelly(コーヒーゼリー) from convenience stores it's my favorite.

The best Onigiri is from 7-11 Hands down. They flavor the nori so it matches perfect with the rice and filling.
