- Sooooo after a long and painful wait we are finally approaching the beginning of the bass season (APRIL) the crabs will soon start to peel over all of the UK and the bass will come inshore along with the smooth hounds mackerel and other species.. my hunt begins earlier the most as I have have months of researching ground so that I can use to get awesome content for you guys.. join me on my adventure and see all the struggles the good the bad and the ugly...

just a tip mate peel the shell of the crab mate and under it will be very soft and thread on hook through leg sockets and elastic on matee

sometimes I do mate. usually not if I'm on the reef at low
How come you didnt peel the crab ?
I don't think it makes a difference dude. I like to throw it out as natural as possible :). Maybe next time I'll peel it see if the results change 😝
