He entered music school at age 5. He has been professionally training his entire life. Both his parents are well known professional singers in Kazakhstan. His mother sings opera. He plays several instruments. He also is a composer and arranger of music. He just entered the world stage in 2017 on the Singer show in China. His career has exploded around the world. He working on his 1st album which should come out in 2018. He sings in 6 octave range.

Loved your reaction - Welcome to the world of Dimash!! He makes every song his own - he added the runs at the end of the song - during a silence so it didn't effect the song. Love to see people be wowed by Dimash. I recommend you watch all the episodes - also best if done in order. SOS was ep 1, Opera 2 is ep 2 - ua-cam.com/video/yRaKFYY_sJ4/v-deo.html. It gives you a chance to see what the audience saw - promise you won't be disappointed. As for history - Dimash has studied music since he was 5 - and has always wanted to be a singer. He is classically trained - and was encouraged to work for the Kazakhstan Opera - but he wanted to do more with his voice - no limits!! He sings in multiple languages - SOS - French, Opera 2 - Russian, then English, Chinese, Kazakh (his native language) and Italian. He also plays multiple instrument - 7 + I think. Looking forward to more!!

Dimash is a very gifted and hardworking young singer from Kazakhstan. he is born with a huge range but more importantly with a neverending passion to sing. he has been training for almost 20 years now. he plays insturments too. he was invited to be the lead singer at Astana Opera House. the third biggest opera house in the world and one of the best opera houses in Asia, in terms of quality.

You got it....Dimash fever! I absolutely adore your reaction! So, Dimash gets a lot of his abilities naturally...both parents are professional singers. However, he works incredibly hard at pushing the boundaries of his voice. Many of his mentors urged him to go into opera where he would have “a long, successful career”, but Dimash wanted to see what else he could do. Freddy Mercury is one of his favorite singers and Dimash performs The Show Must Go On on this show as well. In that song, Dimash shows a minimum of 4 different vocal “characters”, changing his tone, timbre, volume and octaves.
In his performance of Adagio (the Lara Fabian song), Dimash schools us on vibrato, passion and breathing technique.
The song Late Autumn is an emotional ballad that brings many to tears (myself included) and has a high, incredibly beautiful run that was produced by musical instruments in the original song.
Opera 2 was originally popularized by the Russian singer Vitas. Vitas modulated up once in the signature chorus...Dimash modulates three times.
Confessa and The Diva Dance (Plava Laguna)...Dimash is the absolute (in my opinion) best at singing the aria from the movie The Fifth Element and shows off his incredible ability to go high to low and low to high with ease.
Unforgettable Day is a song that Dimash composed the music for at the age of 19...he is now 23. At his concert at Gakku, this is the song where he hits D8 and holds it for 5 seconds.
So, there’s probably more than you asked for, but some facts and opinions from my time following Dimash.

He is trained clasically since he was 5. He was invited to sing in the opera house but he refused as he wanted to go more pop.
He was born with 4.5 octaves but has trained so hard to expand his range and now he has 6.5 octave (sometimes 7). His singing style is bel canto but he desribed his music as neo classicism (pop+opera).
Another ones that will blow your mind is : Adagio, confessa+diva dance, late autumn... I believe I have sent you the links 😀😀

He might be the best singer there’s ever been. Yes.
He reminds me of Farinelli the greatest castrato and virtuoso, he was adored by kings and simple people and became a legend. Being a castrato his voice and technique were unique and unrepeatable. Dimash sings as no one else without having a dramatic mutilation.

Your reactions to Dimash are fantastic. There is another singer on the new 2018 Singer show that has a powerful emotional voice named Hua Chenyu. He's 28 from China. He had a difficult lonely childhood so music became his form of release and expression. Like to see you to react to any of his songs on the Singer. Especially episodes 10 Fake Monk, ep.4 WuKong, ep.5 Child, and ep.8 Super Explosive.

The most insane thing is that once you get used to his voice (if you can get used to his voice) you start paying attention on the way he stays on the stage, how he hypes everyone, insane. Also, even if probably he's not fluent in all the languages he sings in, he still has sung in Italian, French, Russian, Chinese and English. Just wow.
