This is episode 1 from I am a singer show 2017 (China) only well know professional singer participates this show. Every year they invites some other 1-2 non Chinese Asian singers. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and he is 23 years old. He was spotted by Hunan TV manager and been invited to this show. This French Canadian is considered to be one of five most difficult songs to sing in French language and Dimash brought this song to another level. He became overnight sensation after this performance. Please, react to Opera 2 and you wont regret it. Opera 2 is episode 2. Total of 14 episodes:)

This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and doesn't speak any Chinese] , and least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.
List of Dimash's performances in the contest: 1) S.O.S D'un Terrien En Detresse 2) Opera 2 (famous Russian song, requiring inhuman pitch - and he exceeds expectation) 3) The Show Must Go On (fierce and explosive - my favorite) 4) Autumn Late/ Strong Autumn Sense (very beautiful Chinese song) 5) Uptown Funk (not my favorite, but still on point) 6) Adagio (emotional and powerful, plus he played the piano) 7) Daididau (beautiful and tender Kazakh song; he played his country's traditional instrument) 8) Daybreak (emotional song about a child losing his parents in a catastrophic event; his throat was sore but he still did it perfectly) 9) All By Myself (high notes and amazing head voice) 10) Unforgettable Day (he wrote the music for this song, and it's very beautiful) 12) Confessa - The Diva Dance (going from extremely low to extremely high; incredible control) 13) MJ tribute (dynamic duet with Laurie; he played the drums) 14) Give me love (beautiful and heart wrenching Kazakh song).
