This version shows what he is truly capable of with a healthy, well rested voice...not that this version isn’t freaking amazing on its own! He adds a descending scale in the Bastau version that is simply perfection. Thank you for your reaction!
The Diva Dance song is from the movie "5th Element" -- when they made the film though, they had to replace some of the vocals with a synthesizer because they said the human voice couldn't switch running the notes fast enough for the alien singing voice in the movie.... but Dimash can pull it off beautifully without special effects [while he omitted the down run in The Singer episode, he does it beautifully during the Bastau Concert version, as well as a number of other live concerts] 😃

the producer didnt think it coul;d be done but a lot of female singers can sing this perfectly like the movie
well I think that what they say is true. I have not gone to the original soundtrack to actually test every single note but its probably true that it is outright impossible for a human to do it including Dimash. but its close enough that it still sounds good.
Same. For my 29 yrs of existence, I've never seen a singer who can play and exhibition a falsetto and a whistle tone in an incredible way. He is a monster. Best Male Vocal on universe so far. HE IS INCREDIBLY AWESOME!😱😱😱😱

This song is from movie "5th element" sang by an alien diva, where part of the song was generated by computer... Dimash is the only male singer who can do it and better....each song of his, has story, drama and out of this world music....he is very addictive :)))) ....thanks for your great reaction...

In the original soundtrack in the Fifth Element, this bar had been digitally manipulated and portrayed as being sung by an alien. Dimash proved that humans can indeed sing this bar; or maybe he was trying to prove that he’s an alien...🤪😂😂😂
Dimash wrote Unforgettable Day when he was 19 years old. He sang it at the Singer 2017, but then also brought it to another level at the Gakku concert when he threw in, just like that, a 5-second long D8! Could you please react to it?

The second one (MUST SEE) is a traditional Kazakh song "Daididau", in this performance Dimash invited the orchestra from his country.

No, no, no .....you must react to all songs from Singer then you will know about his capabilities he put to different songs.And I agree about Diva Dance in Bastau is even better then this one. This song is from movie 5th Element and in the movi it is sung by an alien. Some of notes were made by synthesizer as human can not sing it. But Dimash did it. Please react to his Bastau version too. You will not be disappointed.

his true vocal type is lyric tenor but he can make his voice like soprano or baritone, and sometimes also bass. his vocal range is E2-B5-F6-D8 (based from all he singing on stage, his true vocal range currently unknow) if you wondering.
another songs with most highlight are episode 2 "opera 2" with his unreachable note and episode 6 "adagio" with his holly note, there also the highest whistle ever do on stage when he singing "unforgettable day" on Gakku concert please check them out

Great reaction! There is an even better version of him doing the Diva Dance live at his Bastau concert. He performed it an hour and a half into his concert after so much singing and dancing... and still his breath control is on point. Please react to that version as well. You want to hear whistle tone? Check his duet with Li Yugang (sings female roles with the China National Opera), doing Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance. VERY different from this and some really interesting vocal gymnastics from both of them.
About the Diva Dance i have red in an other reaction video, that this song was never full performed by a not even female singer for the 5th element movie.. It was composed with many of sound fx...!!!

I guess they classified Dimash a Tenor Altino. On Singer, please react to '' A Tribute to MJ.' It is the final and they are allowed to have a guest singer with them. You will enjoy it very much. They made it fun but prepare to be amazed again. Then you should react to whatever the fans request in the Bastau Concert. It was his first concert in his home country and town and he put his heart and soul into it.

he actually finished 2nd overall in this competition, a croatian female opera singer made this song a long time ago made famous in the fifth element movie, a lot of female opera singers can sing this but he is the only male that can sing it like this

Thanks for your great reaction. As others have mentioned you should definately react to Adagio and Unforgettable Day also. Note that Dimash actually composed Unforgettable Day when he was 19 and did an amazing job. The version from The Singer is much better than the Gakku though he does not have the mentioned D8.
