@dayaldesh yes!! Hridaynath has a uniquely sweet yet masculine voice...along with a typical "Mangeshkar" type "zhaalaa-like" tonal quality which is common and pronounced in Lata, Usha and Hridayanath and slightly less in Asha. His is one of the most pleasing voice in male singers that i have heard...
Oh my God Aaj मला कळले की सुरेश भट यांच्या महान व्यक्तिमत्त्वा बद्दल.. Bec we all family members spend so much time with them n मला marathi साहित्याचे काहीच ज्ञान नव्हते. He used to come to my close relatives ani ratri 12-1 वाजेपर्यंत आम्ही सर्वे फॅमिली members त्यांचे बोलणे ऐकत रहायचो . ते मराठी कविता लिहितात आणि फारच स्पष्ट बोलतात हेच मला माहिती होत़े
This is a rebroadcast of an older program, telecast soon after Suresh Bhat's demise. Note how young everyone looks, esp the musicians. HM's hair is longer and he is bigger in size too.
I am sorry but I beg to differ. A lot of HM's music was original and it was his genius that made it sound folk etc..His contribn to Marathi music is unparalleled in my opinion. songs like Ti Yete were unique (a poem in "MuktaChhanda").. lesser known ones in Jait Re Jait were unique and choice of poetry was even more remarkable. HM single handedly made poets like Grace/Mahanor accessible to "Junta"..And his take on the "Santa Kaawya" was unique..even if now it has become too well known..
When ever it is said that poets mentioned by you not known by others vo think it is not ,but I think they are well known by others too good poetry bisva matter of deep thinker I appreciate them too much
Yes that could be. But, the original song had Asha and a chorus which Hridaynath is trying to achieve all by himself. He was losing his breath, as a result.
@shoonnya. I understand what you are saying, but do remember that most of HM's tunes are a. based on rAgdArI or folk music, b. rehashes of his father's tunes. I don't quite see how or where he has 'taken things forward'. It's just that the Phadkes have stayed more true to the classical music. But longevity of music should determine its quality, not necessarily a different sound. Hard to say 'rap' has taken music forward!
Not at all even I have listened to R.Tambe and love his poetry actually I love your language and culture and tradition so much that I have collected those poetry book to ensure the understand ing of meaning and listen whenever pandit hridoy nath mangeshkar explain the poetry to improve myself .🙏
Do you know how many shrutis are there in Indian music???Please tell me.You may not be matured enough to understand the differance and meaning of the word 'sound' cause it requires international exposure of music. Please be happy in your PREHISTORIC conventional and repetetive music. The day you understand that its not anything to do with these great masters like Hridaynathji, its about the progress of Marathi music..but keep on doing this.
i vaguely get what you are saying and as far as i get it, i tend to agree...I even would go one step further and say that Hridaynath was an only attempt to take it a little forward (Jait Re Jait/ Nivdunga/Meera/Ghalib were all experiments) but then ppl like Shridhar Phadke, Salil Kulkarni have taken it back in terms of "sound"..one example is that NO "JUDGE" ADVISES ON SRGMP LIKE PROGS TO LISTEN TO MAKEBA, NAT KING COLE OR ANY GREATS FROM THE WORLD.. they are so narrow and happy in themselves.
AJOBA "DEEPERZONE" tumhi 100 varsha purvi hota ka??? tya kalli kay sangit hota te aikayla?? lololol what exactly u mean? can u explain? what do u want to listen us ?? we have/had the singers in marathi who can sing upto the "shruti" clearly. what do you mean by " sound"
Marathi listners are one of the most outdated listeners..The world has gone ahead at least 100 years in terms of sound but we are still in the premitive stages..keep it up

ushahkaal hotaa hotaa - maja nahi aali. something is missing.
Can you elaborate/clarify about your 'ahead atleast 100 years' and how Marathi listeners are outdated?
