Catching up on this video and I also had issues with the pressure on my hands and shoulders so raised up my handlebars in a similar way. Great help on those longer rides, and thank you for showing this for how simple and inexpensive it is. Cheers Russ!

Hi Russ, I did this about 3 weeks ago. Makes a big difference.I had to put on a stem riser with an adjustable stem, and a more swept back handle bar. I could probably use a longer front brake cable, if I raise it anymore. But I feel like I am finally sitting up straight. Really love my zebra step through. Thanks Russ for all your help.
If i'm not mistaken the cap allen bolt that adjust bearing play in the fork should be adjusted first then you tighten the 2 allen bolts of the extender assembly
Sometimes the screws get loose they have longer ones 20 mm is the longest on ebay i was looking for screws for the stem 6 screws risers only 2 m6 screws alot safer guys

I’m pretty sure I’m purchasing the brand new Cyrusher Ovia that just came out Friday. It suppose to be a step up from the Komodo’s. There aren’t any reviews on it yet, but the handlebars look short. So, this video is good for me!! Thank you!!
Not sure they are 100% universal, but most bikes probably can do this. The measurements are important though. The first time I ordered one for my Magicycle Commuter bike, it was the wrong size. So yes, definitely measure the diameter of the stem and the diameter of the handlebar (at the point where the stem meets the handlebar).
Love the how to do videos Russ. I did this to my bike love the added height as I've had my seat up high too. Also added a NCX suspension seatpost. Do you use a torque wrench Russ?
I did this process about a month ago. Whereas you took 13 minutes to accomplish this task, I took a little over an hour. I had to take several breaks as I can only stand about 10 minutes at a time. I'm guessing your knees are not hurting as you were exchanging the stem?
Sorry yours took so long! No, my knees seem fine overall. While I can't walk long distances (mostly due to my hips hurting more than my knees lately), I can stand for a while without any issues. I could not say that even a year or so ago though. But I've gained a lot more strength in my knee this past year. Maybe that's why I haven't fallen again since I got my first ebike! Ride on!

Magicycle has one on their accessories category and may upgrade for a smoother ride. As you know, the MC Cruiser is already a pretty smooth ride. Thanks👍
Adjustable stems are fine to determine the type of stem that is required for a comfortable ride. Once I determined the stem I needed I would replace the adjustable stem with a permanent type. I would not trust using an adjustable stem long term.
Have you ever heard of preload of your fork stem bearings? You have non now, the way you did that job. Apply your front brake and rock your bike forward and back to see if you have to much play in your stem bearings. Or maybe the bearings are to tight.

Stems have 2 measurements to check- it needs to fit the steering tube diameter, and handlebar diameter

No. My weight makes it harder to deal with. Plus I am just used to standing up a bit when I see a bump coming up.

No, but it isn’t hard. Two hex screws and that’s it.

Mine is at its full angle and extension so it isn’t shifting anywhere once set.
