Oh you mean how some machines automatically cut out iron. The Gordon must be operator assisted that's true. The Gordon tries to tell me what the object is by a series of three tones. High, mid and low. Until I learn my machine enough to tell when it's trash or not. Haha !I'm getting there. I still get fooled all the time. Cause I need more alone time with my machine.
I just bought one of these metal detectors because I got $25 off. When I get some more money I'll probably get a Nokta Legend or maybe a Minelab or something like that. What setting do you have your Gordon on?
After years of detecting with several decent machines. This Gordon ranks top. For the money, what else could one wish for? It works well, easy on the battery, and light weight. Has many special features. Lighted display Pin pointer and many more features found on much more expensive machines. I now have two Gordon's. That's how I rate it. I got two. After I find out if it can be immersed in water, then I'll see how goode it "really" is.
@@rickylakemusic Yeah. That's what I'd like to know, too. I'm thinking about getting it as my first metal detector but I want to make sure that it's waterproof or submersible first.
Shovel is garbage and too large. Get a traditional digging tool. Worth the investment. If you hunted with a modded Tesoro Cibola, you would not consider anything else except on wet salt beaches, it sucks.
My Little half-shovel is just fine sir. I do have two garden trowels that I also use except I was shot three times and so the half shovel works better for me as my injuries must dictate. Thanks for your support. Keep em swangin!

Cool
You are cool! 😎
"FYI" one of the three (cents) found in the same hole was a dime. I cain't see goode.
Sweet bonus
Yeah, wish my eyes were as good as the Gordon.
Yeah ithe detector was giving a high tone and also a lower tone letting me know of two different targets.
Tesoro Cibola is a silver magnet.
Not so much with gold unless you off the discrimination.
Lol but there called pennies as well
Too right!
@@rickylakemusic
NO! It's a cent!
No! It's a penny!
Fight, and fight, and fight and fight.
The Itchy and Scratchy Show!
Hahahaha 🤣
Without a built in discriminator ... you will be digging up more junk than not....

I have tried all the settings. Right now mine is in jewelry mode.
@@rickylakemusic Okay thanks.
Hey dude. Give THAT GORDON an honest try. You will be happy and satisfied. I promise.
@@rickylakemusic I hope so.
What pin pointer are you going to use?
Where are you going to try out your machine?
Have you found anything gold yet?
I wish! You good folks will know about it when I finally do find some gold or silver.
Almost paid for it right there in the yard.
One gold ring away from a payday.

Only way to find out is to get it wet.
I used flex seal on my HF nine function.
@@rickylakemusic It doesn't say on the outside of the box?
@luigiprovencher8888 it DOES READ "10 inch Waterproof Coil"
