'Tig', 'tag', and 'it' were all used at my schools, but mostly 'it'. We'd say "tig/tag, you're it". I just zoned out for a bit and the next thing I heard was, "a world where the raccoon gets a wife within days and I can't get a wife all year". I'm confused.

I grew up in a very small area where 'tig/tag/it' is actually called dobby. And when you caught someone you would say 'dob'
