Funny thing is, they STILL downplayed Joker in this fight LMAO
Some of his Personas can ABSORB (healing him instead of damaging him), NULLIFY or even REFLECT certain types of damage (physical, fire, ice, wind, electric, nuclear, psychic, curse and/or light).
He has multiple healing skills, some that just fully heals him. Acces to items that do the same, basically spammable.
He has acces to skills like ENDURING SOUL, which basically fully heals him the moment he would've died.
He has pretty easy acces to Almighty Magic attacks without needing to resort to Satanael's Sinful Shell, like Megido/Megidola/Megidolaon, or Morningstar.
But I get it, they wanted to make the fight more enjoyable, and they did. I loved it regardless, I just think Joker's scaling is ridiculous

Advantages and Disadvantages For joker and Giorno by the Official G1 Team
Joker (Winner)
Advantages:
Infinitely stronger regardless of high or low ends
Immensely faster at low ends, and can match Giorno’s highest speed argument and surpass it with stat buffs
Far more skilled and experienced, and possesses theoretically far greater knowledge via Personas
Resists his willpower being returned to zero
Has multiple arguments to resist Return to Zero itself, as well as bypassing it completely
Possesses strong win conditions even if he lacks resistance to Return to Zero
Capable of resisting and escaping the death loop if it lands
Has far greater versatility due to his many more hax options
Better stamina and recovery options
Has experience against reality and time bending opponents
Can make himself immune to Giorno and GER’s attacks via skills and the Omnipotent Orb
Is probably going to get another 3 spin-offs before Atlus drops Persona 6
Managed to attract the attention of the Goddess of Fertility by simply being that good of a womanizer
Actually has a “Jo” in his name
Disadvantages:
Cannot resist his defense being returned to zero
Generally has worse showings of being a tactical fighter by comparison
Anime is dogcrap
Persona 5 fans don’t play Persona 5

Could return Joker’s defense to zero…
Potentially faster with his high end arguments…
Anime is godlike
Has the better theme song
Disadvantages:
Immensely weaker
…But Nulls, Omnipotent Orb, and Dekunda can subvert this effect
…But Joker can match that speed with his own high ends
Has no real way to kill Joker
Joker has several win conditions he has no way around, even with Requiem
Far less experienced and skilled
Cannot return Joker’s will to zero
RtZ can be bypassed in a few ways
Has no way of resisting the scale of reality warping Cognition has
That stupid as donut as haircut

Quick note, which song specifically is Joker's "theme"? Multiple tracks could be. "Last Surprise", "Rivers in the Desert", "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There", and "Life Will Change" could all be said to be his theme.

Btw at 12:30 giorno didn’t revert joker’s action to zero
Giorno amplified joker’s sense and made him think he shoot when he didn’t move in the first place
beginning of the fight wasn't Return to Zero, it was Life Shot. The background turned blue and you see Joker get pulled back to his own body, and Gold Experience can't use it until he turns Requiem, that's the whole point
This is a neg diff fight. He wins with one meg move. It really wasn't close.
They downplayed Joker fir the sake of the fight lol he would stomp in 0.01 seconds
Maruki’s persona is literally a better version of GER because he can on top of denying reality also manipulate reality to his will and joker still beat him and Maruki even admits if he tried to redo the fight over again he would still lose everytime also denying reality is still a form of reality manipulation which Joker negates out right
