I was at Cedar Point last May and got on Steel Vengeance after the park closed. The people at the front gate (after 8) were like “come in, we’re still taking people.” This park is awesome lol
People would be surprised by how many late night or overnight employees an amusement park can have. If you're alone and the park usually runs an overnight crew you could be fine all night. If the park only runs a late night maintenance crew then security will get you after they've all left because the maintenance supervisors are required to make sure everyone on their shift clocks out together and then lets security know they're all gone. Everyone on night security knows each other so people can't play the "oh I'm new and we just haven't worked together yet." So unless you obviously look like you wouldn't be an overnight worker (like you're clearly a teenager) or you're causing damage to something or just acting suspiciously no one's going to bother you because they'll just assume you're a part of a different night crew.
This actually happened once to me where it stormed really hard so we waiting for the rain to die down and we ended up being there for well over an hour maybe an hour and a half after the park closed. It was pretty surreal.
@GFed The roller coaster is now called Top Thrill 2, not Top Thrill Dragster (Dragster was the name of the former iteration) Also, the term you're looking for when describing the difference in the new Top Thrill 2 is called a "Swing Launch".
Bro really decided to take a detour from sports
rumor has it he's still there lol
theme parks are better
It’s The Off-season
From someone who used to work there, they probably wouldn't kick you out unless it was like late late like midnight.
They honestly probably just assumed you were an employee or they just don't care. I used to work there so I would believe either.

Awesome sports I love and theme parks this is awesome!
I love how they have bleachers for Top Thrill, it’s a bit of theme that’s just so cute
Do it in summer when it’s open till 11pm
