Same goes for hanging on the rim too long. If the other team gets down to the other end of the floor after inbounding it before he drops, that's his own problem. Let it go. And on another note - FIGHTING. No foul call, suspensions, or ejections should be made unless someone actually MAKES violent contact with the target - whoever it may be. And No more "stare-down" techs either. Like LeBron's alley-oop poster on Jason Terry. 'Bron didn't even say anything... He just looked at him... If Terry aggressively retaliated, the HE should've gotten T'd up. And I believe the instigator should only get a tech if used physical content, or sign language profanity that which a ref may have missed or not seen until they review a replay of what the player who retaliated did. And then the refs can decide who if not both get techs. All in all, I feel this would make the NBA more fair, enjoyable for fans and casual spectators of the game who just felt like watching at that point in time, and even more worth the fans money possibly than ever before.
