Lysenko was one of my favorites ever. She was the most talented on that Soviet team and a better gymnast than Gutsu and Podkopayeva. She could never be consistent enough to prove it. I still think that Lysenko deserved that 1993 Worlds AA Gold, even with that step out of bounds.

@@211jump It pains me every time I think about it. At least she has a bronze from ‘93 Worlds, but we all know she could have swept every AA gold at every competition from ‘91 to ‘93.

@@tambam6744 It's also sad how her coach and inner politics in UGF in 1995 cut her career short. She could have kept going.
