Lyapina - 9.65
Dolgopolova - 9.70
Khorkina - 9.75
Kochetkova - 9.80
Grosheva - 9.85
Galiyeva - 9.90
Best Vaults of the night as a (team) whole.

How Galieva's vault scored higher than Grosheva's is beyond me!

Love her but...not really. She didn’t pike at all. Grosheva, Kotchetkova and Galiyeva all had better form in air. But Khorkina definitely had a great landing.

The addition of Galieva to the Russian squad was a big deal for them and it increased their potential point total substantially. They were 3rd and 4th at the two previous Team Worlds and they came in a tad under the radar as a result. Winning the silver was actually an encouraging result for their federation if you look at context, but you would never know based on how they reacted in that last rotation.
Who were there AA gynnasts?
