which are the best spade crimps to connect a magnetron. Since my old one burn the connectors. i have a kenmore 721.85039010. I bought some one but the new magnetron burn them too.thank you
I have a Whirlpool microwave model GH5184XPB5 and it gave me an error message to change the Humidity Sensor. I found the part #8206446 but I need more information about where it is located on this microwave. Can you help?
Pete Perez It is located on the top of the cavity inside the blower. You will likely have to uninstall the microwave to access it if you don't see it when you remove the top grille. Microwaves can be a dangerous appliance to service so we always recommend unplugging it before and steering clear of the high voltage capacitor.
@@jennydelaware7552 unfortunately I haven't looked further into it. Wife has been using as is. Used one of those appliance online help things and got no where for 30 bucks. Probably a magnetron thats more than machine is worth. 8000 in kitchenaid appliances. All 5 years old. All junk! Problems with all of them. They should be ashamed
It's in the description box. "The most common reason for replacing the magnetron tube is if the microwave does not heat and continuity testing proves the magnetron has failed."

I already bought a new microwave but then found out the magnetron is warranted for 8 years so I might have to take the new one back.

I replaced the magnetron and the diode and the capacitor. It’s still making the buzzing noise and not heating.
What else could it be?
Was it the transformer?
I have same microwave. Heats for exactly one minute then stops every time its used. Could this be the cause? Thank you
I have this issue as well. Do you know what the issue is?

How are you so sure the Magnetron tube is defective? Did someone test the high voltage circuit first?
It's in the description box. "The most common reason for replacing the magnetron tube is if the microwave does not heat and continuity testing proves the magnetron has failed."
Thank you
why you take the motor wire off before do it something?
A Pino We are not sure which step you are referring to. We likely had to remove it to get the baffle out before servicing the magnetron.
I've done magnetron replacements in microwaves before. Once the cap is discharged it's all common sense
Mac Man Congrats on the many successful microwave repairs.
