Bible Discussions - Episode 15 - Restoration

Do you wish you could return to the way things used to be? Did you wake up today and realize that you've wandered away from God and aren't even sure where you are anymore? Don't worry. God hasn't forgotten about you. That longing to return and feeling of being lost are actually the sound of God calling you back to a relationship with him.
In the Old Testament, we examine how God orchestrates world events to restore his people. Cyrus, the king of Persia, works in lockstep with Old Testament prophecy to return the Jews from captivity to Jerusalem. We learn that everything happens for a reason, and God has a plan that includes disciplining and providing for his people.
In the New Testament, we explore the concept of reconciliation and find that God's providential plan includes each one of us. Just like the prodigal son, we are always welcomed back with open arms when we decide to come back home. God is calling, waiting, and watching for us to come home, and he is working to remove any obstacles in our path.
This is another episode in the series entitled, "Who Is Jesus Christ, and Why Do I Need Him?" Join father and son, Timothy and Caleb, as they explore the books of the Old Testament to discover the main attribute of God revealed in each. Then listen as they survey the New Testament to see how Jesus Christ exemplifies each attribute in his person.
