@@AzguardMike no that’s spreading misinformation. Frozen was made from the snow queen fairy tale and doesn’t bear much resemblance to the original story and it’s more of a loose adaption. The changed Elsa from being the villain to the troubled sister who was saved by Anna and not defeated like a traditional Disney villain. I don’t know if she would have been “defeated”. But she went from the pure villain role. Actually they still could have still had her be a villain and just changed sides and became good. After all the snow queen in the original story was kinda like a bad guy being selfish and stealing a boy from a village and corrupting him with malice.

I think it’s weird at this point that every time a new fairy tale film comes out Hollywood is like “Look at how progressive we are that we are going to remove the damsel in distress troupe.” I’m like “Yeah right. You know what seeing this makes me realise this is the way to save the upcoming Snow White movie: reshoot some scenes and make Snow White the villain. It will for sure be cheaper than creating more CGI stuff and literally everyone will pay to go see it.
