@@HexedPress it remains to be seen. At first level it doesn’t really affect anything. Once the players get to 3rd level when they can train for the next step in mastery I think it will create some interesting combat as well as narratives.
With slowing down combat I think eventually that will change. If you combine the players getting used to it, like you said, with players being able to get multiple attacks a round; ultimately each combat should take less rounds to complete so should eventually be even faster?
@@vastlyblank that’s what I think. More damage will be dealt every round making fights quicker. The trade off will be a few sessions of looking up how certain weapons act and what can be done. It will be a bit slower at first but ultimately it should even out and add an interesting dimension to the combat.
I'm curious what your take is! When I read through it a bit back, I was mixed on it for my sort of game but I know a lot of people really like it!

I’m sure we might be a tad slow at first but we’ll get there
@@onealflynn2414 oh for sure.
Looks like good optional rules that can be inserted into other rulesets as well. Hope it works out well for your table.
@@Pantherrrr I think it’s generic enough that you could use it in other systems pretty easily.
Please make a video about DEATH or GLORY! I just bought it and would love some inspiration or just to watch you explain or play!
@@daltonking625 Haha you bought the little one page game I wrote? That’s awesome thanks. Sure I can probably do a video on that.
You should check out the weapon proficiency rules from Old School Essentials. It’s one page 😅
@@shazamvondoom325 Good idea, I’ll track it out.
